So I've got a Dell Multimedia Keyboard. This is what it looks like:

Anyone know how to go about changing the functions of the multimedia keys? I don't use most of the black ones across the top, and I feel I'd be able to get a lot more use out of the keyboard if I could change what they do. I'd also like to chance the music keys on the right so they work with Winamp.

The thing is, I've looked at the Keyboard area of my control panel, and there's nothnig there about this. I've checked my start menu, and I don't see any software Dell has installed for this keyboard.

I'm on an XPS Gen 3, if it makes any difference.

You need to install the keyboard driver from dell. If you dont have the CD it can be downloaded here;

I've been having odd PC problems, so I don't know if the broken link message was on my end or not.

Well, that did nothing except open my Surround Mixer, which I can already do by pressing the music note key

There's no other new programs installed, and I still can't find a way to edit the functions for the keys

Go to start-Control panel-printers other hardware- keyboard-then click the buttons tab and you should be able to configure them
