I want to buy The Witcher 2, but from Steam is still 40€ (I'm from Italy), so I thought about buy it from Amazon.com (USA then) (15€), in downloadable way. Is that possible? I'll have a Steam code to use?

That should work, I believe, as long as your counties version is the same (not an edited version).

The Witcher 2 isn't Steamworks outside from the version sold on Steam. If you want the steam version then your best chance is to wait 'til the summer sale, otherwise I suggest you order the retail version from amazonUK/zavvi/UK retailer of your choice. The Amazon US download should work too, but like I said, it won't be Steamworks unless someone proves me wrong.

As Spwn said, the game isn't steamworks so to get it on steam you have to buy it on steam.
You can try to find a 40% steam coupon for the game (shouldn't be too hard, a lot of people are getting rid of their coupons), and ask someone from the US (or even me!) to buy and gift it to you, this way it'll be cheap:

If it isn't Steamwork I will wait for the a price drop or a sale... ._.

Would be cool, but how could I repay you in that case? lol

Is Binary Domain £25 at places other than Chavvie? I was gonna buy it a day ago but got cold feet at the zavvi homepage.

Witcher 2 is 17 euros on *****(you even get 5-10% discount at checkout or something) and it's a steam version, I know it works because I bought it for a friend so you can get it from there.

On 2nd thought, maybe I shouldn't mention it because I recall that Evilore made a topic banning a lot of websites so better to be safe then sorry. It's legit website I often buy from and everything but still.

I think recommending those services is forbidden, just saying :).

It is February 29th... I wonder what piece of tech when a borked calendar is going to break today?

I did not feel like making a thread, so just posted this here.

I miss ApocalyPS3 :/

Last story LE arrived from HMV today (yesterday/tuesday) in case anyone was wondering. It's pretty sweet, I have a massive weakness for steelbooks.

I won't be around much for a couple of days so I expect vitas for £100 and stuff all sold out when I return ;)

Is there currently a better deal for a Wifi Vita than the 15€ off on Amazon DE? For Germany I mean.

To answer that question myself: Saturn has the Wifi model + a 16GB memory card for 269€.

This is an ok deal, but I'll still wait for the Vita to drop in price officially at some point.

I think the 3DS had bomba price drops at around May/June, so I'm going to wait until then. Although the news of the better than expected sales might scupper my dreams. :|

Every system gets a price drop at some point. This time I am willing to wait. I usually buy systems at launch and then I always regret it during the first year.

Yeah, I think I'll do the same. Especially with the lackluster global sales so far it's hard to not expect better deals in the near future.

But I think I'll go to Saturn anyway and see what will happen. :3

A while ago someone was asking about a cheap copy of Starcraft 2, according to someone on Houtukdeals, HMV are selling it for £19.99 instore at the moment.

I paid 279 for only the Wifi unit in Finland. :( I'm that stupid.

Still worth it though, awesome system. <3

Next time give me the 50 Euro lol :D Wifi unit was 229 here in Austria... And Amazon.de had it for 250 Euro with 15 Euro bonus for a game and a free 8 gb card. You have too much money :P

Slightly OT question: how are Amazon.co.uk with release date delivery if using 1st class? I pay for prime, but sometimes things go askew due to my incredibly obscure address and CityLink et al being buffoons. Tempted to change my new ME3 CE preorder to 1st class knowing that Royal Mail at least know where our house is, but don't want to not have it for that first weekend of release.

This is not strictly a game deal, but it might appeal.

I like the way you say not strictly, as if it might be a little tiny bit of a game deal =P

I bet those things are awesome.

For ME3, it's the kind of thing supermarkets will probably heavily discount, but you won't know until a day or two before. Especially since there's been a bit of publicity around it, they'll be climbing over each other to get a few of GAME's customers. You'll get it for £29.99 or less somewhere.

If anybody always wanted one of those robot vacuum cleaners that you just leave on the floor for it to vacuum during the day whilst you're out, now you can get one from the ebuyer ebay outlet for £59.99

Can these guys vacuum on carpets? do they go over thresholds? If so, I want one.

I'm wary of posting this, as it is really a rubbish price, but not so bad if you have one of those Livingsocial £20 vouchers. Point is, it is rare to find this new and in stock.

Skyward Sword limited edition with gold Wii Remote Plus at HMV £54.99

I bought it used for almost the same price. It's impossible to find new so I'd say that's a good price.
