If you want I've got a PS3 one which I've played like 4 times (4hours total iirc), in perfect mint conditions, which I'm willing to trade for PS3/3DS games :)

In others news, yesterday and today Amazon.it are selling €50 PSN ita cards for €32,49! I think it's worth it to make a separate ITA account for that! If you guys want I can get them for you (free shipping) and then email you the codes.
They also have LIVE GOLD (UK) 12 months for €32 circa.

I just stopped using Boomerang Rentals after 18 months due to gaming time constraints but they were fantastic. Super quick turnaround and varying package levels.
 
Whats a reliable and cheap way to get 800 Microsoft Points digitally?
I buy them so rarely that I always forget which site I use.

I need to get my account ready to go for Trials next week.

Boomerang are great. Used them on and off for a few years now, turnaround time on games is great and and a number of occasions i received rental copies on launch day. Taking a rental holiday now however as there aren't many releases and need to get my backlog down.

IIRC it's not a question of whether a site doing this is legit or not, it's that offering codes for games that are priced differently in a different territory is problematic for GAF politically.

That was my take on it all when this came up awhile ago anyway. However, I am happy to be corrected as it is something I only took a cursory interest in as it is not a way of buying games I would currently pursue.

The Steam gifting would be treated the same way if that were the case.
Banning key resellers, which is what I assume you are talking about, had more to do with how those sites obtained those keys. There are sites that seem more legit than others (which take their keys directly from bought copies of the game, for instance), but there was one in particular that was proven to have sold stolen keys, which led to the admins deciding that all such sites were to risky to promote here.

Gamestracker is not working properly for quite some time now (weeks). It sometimes loads, but mos of the times I get a 500 error. Anyone know what's going on?

I am looking for super cheap Binary Domain PS3.

It got worse for me when I told Firefox that I didn't want sites to track me. Now it will sometimes load but mostly won't.

It always works for me if I go to my watchlist (from there I can get to everything else), but never if I go to the domain. My RSS feeds stopped working ages ago.
 
Anybody had any luck on their points from the Microsoft store yet? I phoned them AGAIN this morning and were told they had been "picked up" this morning.. considering this is what they told me on Thursday last week I don't hold out much hope.

Remind me never to bother trying to save £4 on these again, it's been more headache than it's worth :|

Nope, no news on mine. Doesn't seem like anyone has got them yet, I don't think. They use UPS so it should be quick once they've been dispatched.

Thanks a lot. Both suggestions worked: I tried with IE instead of Firefox and it works, so it's something related to privileges. Then I tried going straight to my watchlist with Firefox and it works too.

I couldn't tell you, I'm not a Mod :).

However, irrespective of whether their links are banned on here or not they are on my personal retailer blacklist. Not so much because of the leak [which I was a victim of] but because of their lack of transparency in respect of this and, I believe, an earlier leak which only came to light after the more recent occurrence. Frankly, I don't trust the company after that and choose to not give them my custom. If my situation changes and I am able to place an order with them without risking my personal details and financial details then I would consider using them again. That is, of course, an entirely personal view that is only for me and any one else's mileage may vary considerably, as is their right.

If you wish for a specific explanation as to why their links are still banned here then I would suggest that you ask a Mod. They can be quite friendly if you approach them nicely and don't poke them through the bars of their cage with a stick or anything, you know :).

Nope, ordered 4200 points and haven't had even as much as a dispatch email yet. I emailed the MS store on Thursday, got a reply on Friday saying that they were "ready for dispatch" and would be delivered by UPS with the "highest priority". So far... nothing. Going to email them again this afternoon I think.
 
Just rang the MS Store customer services (0844 800 2400). Waste of time, but apparently the points are "still in delivery" whatever that means, and will be dispatched in the next 1 to 2 days. The woman I was speaking to said this as if I should be pleased at the fact it's taken 8 days and counting to get my points dispatched, so I wouldn't waste your time or money on the phone as you'll probably get a similar response.

I ordered on the fifth, so 11 days ago, and there's still no movement at all. Paid with PayPal as well so they took my money straight away. Now I'm going to have to buy more points because I don't have enough for Trials. FFS.

Seriously though Rhythm Thief is a really good game and, especially with the dire straits they are in, Sega deserve every sale they can get for making a good original game before they are forced into making nothing but Sonic games to stay afloat.

Same, I've just had to buy 500 points to make sure I have enough for Trials on Wednesday. Never ordering from the Microsoft Store again, an embarrassment to MS and possibly the worst online store I've ever had to deal with.
