Sainsbury's are doing in-store 3DS pre-orders for £199.99, which they are advertising would net you £5 of Nectar points. Not bad at all for guaranteed day one at arguably the lowest price.

Is it possible to add a game to my existing 3ds Amazon order? Want to add the RR3d for £20 deal but i don't wanna cancel my old preorder

If you haven't already managed this I emailed Amazon yesterday to ask, they got back pretty quickly and added RR to my existing 3DS Order but also mentioned it can be done by yourself.

Amazon Customer Support said:
For future reference, if you'd like to add items to an existing order, first return to our website and place a new order for the additional items. Once the new order has been submitted, click on Your Account at the top of any page of our website. Then, click the "Combine orders" link. Once you've signed in, you will be able to view your order history and combine qualifying orders.

What do you mean? It's a limited run?
Only the first print is the Premium Edition, once they're all gone S-E will reprint as a standard PSP release.

There's probably millions in the wild, but no guarantee they'll be around forever.

That wouldn't add any qualifying offer though, I wouldn't think. Just combine the orders to save on shipping or something.

I need to get organised and do a Trade + Match & Beat by a £1 (vs CEX or HMV usually) on my older stuff to get some GameStation credit. Between now and Easter is good for prices as they want to generate store traffic and build up stocks.

The Ghost Recon Shadow Wars game is by the guy that created the X-com games and possibly quite good! HMV have always been terrible for delivery times for me so I'm avoiding for something as important as the 3DS. I either get it on launch day or a week later - after my holiday...
Really? Bit worrying. This is one reason I"m tempted to go with game instore, as at least i'll get it on release day. And the trade in price is pretty good

They added the Discount for me. So if it doesn't work automatically just send an email to Support and they will apply the discount.

Don't wait too long. Once it's gone, it's gone.

I know, but I don't really want the limited edition.
50% voucher for VS is nice, but I don't care about the rest of the stuff.

Yup - I did a seperate order for Ghost Recon at £29 from Amazon then submitted a ticket and got them to add it to my existing 3DS + Samurai Warriors order.

They did so within hours saving me cash and putting them into the same order so I get them together.

SW is still showing as arriving the day after though which is a little odd. I've used 1st class postage instead of free on all of this (offset by the savings) so hopefully it'll be fine.

Awesome, thanks mate I just emailed them myself.

I bought it for £17 and thought it was worth it. Don't kill me if you end up buying it and hating, however.

I'd say skip it. The GAF-mind seems to love this game mostly because it does well to ape Twin Peaks in it's style, somehow making up for what I think is pretty broken gameplay--some really shoddy shooting mechanics which remind me of the early days of the PS1. You should check out the Endurance Runs that Giant Bomb has going. For me, the £13 isn't worth it necessarily unless you really know what you're getting into.

Thanks a lot to both of you, appreciated.
I think I'll watch those GB videos and make up my mind, even tho I'm now more on the "don't bother" side if only because my backlog is so hugely filled with gems that I don't know if I have the will to suffer thru shoddy gameplay even if it's to enjoy a good quirky story.
I dunno, I mean I DO love games like Killer 7/No More Heroes/Contact and in the end the enjoyment I got out of those was definitely more than the sum of their parts.

I earned another BAFTA game code using the gmail full stop trick and it works on the xbox version of need for speed hot pursuit, takes it down to £18 :D best price so far for the game.

Has anyone outside the UK who ordered Killzone 3 from bee.com received their order yet? Mine was dispatched last Tuesday night (to Spain) but it is still not here. I am not worried yet, but it would be nice to know whether others have received it already.

Got this from GAME yesterday, guess they are pushing trade ins again. Dunno why they don't just put it on their site.

I've just been to game, they gave me £30 for GT5 but only offered £20 for Dead Space 2. :/

So as a really, really surprising bonus from TheHut of all places, the Atelier Rorona I bought, already cheaper than Amazon and used a 10% voucher in addition to it, just arrived in remarkably quick fashion (about a week even with a 'usually dispatches in a month' notice), and it came with the full OST which I wasn't expecting at all. Really awesome bonus and anyone who is looking for the RPG still may as well grab it from them. Still wouldn't use them regularly over Amazon (ordered something Sunday, arrived today :D) but I might give them a go again if something is cheaper.

Any ps3 limited editions of ds2 left? zavvi is taking its sweet ass time and I wouldn't be surprised if they send me the lame edition without extraction if they ever get their thumbs out soon...

PS3 pre-ordered! Thanks.

That's less than £10 per game version (PS3, Mac, PC) ;)
Isn't it actually more expensive via Steam atm? :D

btw it's over £18, so they should send it from the UK, right? So we EU guys don't have to worry about customs and long ass delivery times.

Recently, all my games have come from in the UK.

I'll be in London for a weekend in two weeks. I'm interested in buying a PS3 Slim 160GB.

I'm looking for the cheapest brick n mortar store. Any ideas?

Is it likely this deal will last for two weeks? Can't get to the UK any earlier.

That seems to be the case. The last game I've ordered over £18 was Killzone 3 and that took 5 days 20 hours from dispatch mail to me having it in my hands.

The average for cheaper games is around 10 days for me. (Germany)

Good question, sorry I am not too sure, but to be honest it will prob end by then. Just post in here in two weeks time when your in London, there maybe some other deals floating around.

Ok, great.

Holy shit NMH2 is awesome, everybody with a Wii should buy it, that's a crazy price

Yeah, it's a good deal for that price. But I was a bit disappointed in this sequel. Doesn't live up to the original. Still fun and enjoyable, though.

French-GAF, this month a lot of official PS3 accessories (inc. DS3 in all colors, BD remote, wireless headset or €20/€50 PSN card) are 20% off if you are a member of FNAC or FNAC Gaming. It also applies to the Move Starter Pack and the Nav controller, but not the standalone Move.

So I think I asked before, where's the cheapest place to order my 3ds games. I want Pro evo and pilot wings.

I hope to get them around £20-25 and haven't jumped the gun yet. I'm hoping my patience pays off.

Use the zavvi 10% code to get PES, Pilotwings for £26.87.

Ugh, after my SSFIV preorder debacle I promised my self I wouldn't preorder from them again. I can't afford to risk a wait of 3-4 days with no games to play on the thing :(

Spotted this on Hotukdeals.

HMV might have messed up their Pokemon Black/White trade-in deal. Trade any of a selected list of games in and get Pokemon for £7 with a free zip case (I think it fits the DS...tightly) The games are:
Pokémon Platinum
Pokémon Soul SIlver
Pokémon Heart Gold
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem
Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
I'm pretty sure they've put the wrong Pokemon Ranger game on there as Guardian Signs was the one that came out last year (I think £17.99 is the cheapest thats been so cost-neutral or nearly). Shadows of Almia can be found for the £10-£15 mark. Problem is if HMV rectify this error (or at the till it only works with the correct game) you'll be stuck with a copy of a game you don't want and the saving isn't that massive...plus, most you Pokemanics already have the game :P

Are HMV as viligant as Argos when it comes to houtukdeals?

Not a great deal, but £5 off £30 at HMV.com this weekend with MOFFHMVO5 . Maybe that'd work on those 3DS game pre-orders, or a new release for anyone so inclined.

This code isn't working for me. :(
It doesn't give any error messages though, so it should be a valid code, but there's no reduced price.
