Why not send it to Sony to be repaired? Even if it's out of warranty you won't get a cheaper PS3 than what that would cost
120GB slims are £159.99 atm at sainsbury's and amazon, 320GB slims are £200 in store at morrison's with some bundle shit. I don't know if Sony actually do repairs out of warranty, I know they do replacements around £130? Or so.

Eww, ShopTo charges £3 for shipping and they are super fast. That's the least I'd expect from TheHut now, but I somehow doubt they can keep up.
Well, p&p is 1,99£ for 1-3 items, 2,99£ for 4+ items (at least to Finland), so for people who like to order more than one game at a time it's actually better than before (or not worse, at least). Does Shopto have p&p per item or per order?

I got my fat PS3 repaired through Tesco. £69 flat rate incl. pickup & dropoff and gauranteed for 6 months. They couldn't repair my YLOD so they just replaced the logic board no additional cost. I was pretty impressed with the service.

Well that's for you to decide really but for the sake of £40 it's surely worth a punt to play those games you wish to play. It would be worth it just for RE4 if you ask me but ymmv

I just got CoD4 and it uses a Gamefly client which seems really slow to download the game :/

When you're in your list of games click the four horizontal lines next to the six squares to change how the games are displayed, you can see more info on the download then.

PSN cards only work for the country (so not region) that the account is from.
Google's safe browsing diagnostic page doesn't even specify why it has been listed, the service only ever gives me problems.

Seems they finally updated the diagnostic log, got some trojan and script exploits on there now.

Remember that those are Country locked. Meaning you can't use a UK PSN card with an EU account or whatever.
You'd need to create a specific UK account, that is what I did.
Btw, is there a place selling eShop cards online for a decent price?
