Can't link right now, but zavvi has BlazBlue CSII Limited on Mega Monday for £14.95.
That's the nice thing with the BB LimEds, they're always gonna be super cheap eventually :D

Still no MGS HD though. I'm kinda desprate for this by now, so I guess I'll order it by the end of the month anyway :|

does anyone know if game are open today? i want to take advantage of the trade in 3 games and get 10.00 extra offer before it expires.

So, from Zavvi's Mega Monday deals, which one should I pick:

-Disgaea 4
-SSX
-Kingdoms of Amalur
-Syndicate
-The Darkness 2
-Binary Domain

?

I would not buy blindly from Zavvi, a lot of these could be cheaper elsewhere - esspically with The Hut having the BHTEN code this weekend. Also, SSX was close to £20 a few days back at Tesco. Syndicate and Binary Domain are cheaper elsewhere too... I think. Syndicate is £18.85 @ Shopto, and amazon have Binary Domain for £19.12

Did Zavvi raise their shipping price to 3 pounds? I heard that somewhere

I posted about The Hut a few pages back, then others chimed in that different countries ask different P&P, and even more chimed in that the new P&P covers multiple items - not just one.

ah sorry about that. But doesn't thehut charge more postage fees now?

Varying prices to different countries - still zero to UK. Zavvi still have £0.99 to Euro countries - zero in UK.

The Hut now covers multiple items with one postage cost (that could be £2 or £3 depending on where you live).

I guess Zavvi could be best to some places depending on where you live, and Hut could be better if people are looking to order two or more items at the same time.

I also think The Darkness 2 should drop hard soon.

The Darkness 2 is 12$ on Amazon.com as a PC Digital Download. (Steam Redeemable)
You only need a fake US address
Great price. Do I just log into my UK account, add a US address, log into the US account and buy using my card, it's that simple?

It's super linear and super short though (took me around 4-5 hours on the second hardest difficulty setting). Not a bad game, just a head's up. I sprung on that deal but in hindsight would've waited for an even bigger drop.

Ah I might wait then, I have tons of other stuff to play, was just surprised to see such a relatively new game get that big of a price drop. Thanks for the heads up.

Also cheers tsab for the deal and the address info, will be useful for future Amazon deals :)

The Witcher 2: EE (X360) - £31.99 - Amazon.co.uk

Good deal for those interested. Also note that as well as the extra goodies which come with the standard enhanced edition, all launch copies of The Witcher 2 sold by Amazon will be hand signed by CD Projekt. Might be a bonus for some, not so much for others. I've heard great things about the game and personally I think it looks amazing so I'd quite like to have my copy signed.

Cheers mate, gone for this.

Hmm do I swap my Tescos Direct pre order with Amazon to save 30p and add a signature. How are delivery times with each guys?

Somewhat unrelated but I have a copy of DMC: HDC that was dispatched yesterday from
Shopto
and a copy of Demon's Souls: BFE that I've been waiting for since last Monday that haven't been delivered. The van was parked outside my damn house, too.

I cannot stress how much I hate Royal Mail.

It's all the fault of those pesky customers who order stuff online apparently. Those poor downtrodden RM staff can't cope with it all.

Well that's what the counter person at my local RM depot told me awhile back when I went to pick up a parcel that they attempted to deliver i.e. shoved a card through the door, didn't even bother to knock or ring the bell, forcing me to go and pick it up myself and wait ages in a huge queue, just so they could knock off early.

[/rant]

I once got a RM slip saying they tried to deliver a package but it was too big for my letterbox so they took it back to the depot. I turned up, picked up a tiny little package (a 3DS charger) and as I arrived back home casually slotted it through my letterbox with about a centimeter of clearance at either side of the parcel. They never even attempted to deliver it - utter laziness.

My posty is great, If something does not fit in the letter box, he will look for an open window to toss it in. If he cannot find that, he puts in the garage. There was one time he hid a package behind the bin.

My Postie just casually walks through the front door sometimes...not all the way, just enough to through the parcel in...the joys of living in a small village...everyone knows everyone

It has it's dangers though. I take my neighbours bins out to front of her house for her and a few weeks ago a delivery company left a package in her recycle bin. She was on 5 straight nightshifts and didn't bother checking her mail properly - at least until the day after the bin men came - and hadn't realised one had been left in her paper/bottle bin. It's with Jesus now.

I had a posty (actually they were several different people) who didn't even bother ringing the door bell if a parcel wouldn't fit in the mail box. I saw him or her pass by our place on several occassions through our third floor window whilst I was home, only to leave a 'failed to deliver' note.

I assume they had found out it takes less time to write the note than to try if someone is actually home and wait for them to come down or something...

So I decided to move. :-)

A couple of weeks ago, I received a package plus one of those "We've put your package in a safe place" things with "letterbox" scrawled on it.

Safe as houses.

I actually prefer the idea that they do not stuff Jiffy bags and smaller packages into my mailbox. Even though my mailbox is big enough to accommodate at least three average DVD/BD jewel case packages, god only knows how the postmen decide upon delivering those.

Better pick them up from a proper post office than risk this kind of shit.

The postmen here always deliver the package at a neighbor if you're not there to pick it up. They'll leave a note with the date/time and the address of the neighbor.

I know, that's Why i asked for a € and $ psn card... Zavvi sells uk card

And that is exactly why I'm telling you that you can't ask for such a thing.

€ cards don"t exist. You either go £ for UK accounts or € France, € Germany, € Italy and so on.
They're binded by country, not region.

What?
