Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

This looks pretty sweet and really unique. Can anyone give me some impressions?

The series is really great if you like the visual and musical style. The game is pretty difficult, but not impossible, and it is fairly addictive too. This is most true for Runner, which really nails that "just one more go" feeling.

I would say that there are some framerate problems in Saga, though. These seem to affect Runner the most, I'm not sure if the other games are as affected (if at all).

Despite the framrate issues, I would say the asking price there is a steal.

The games included are:

Beat - Musical Pong / Breakout.
Core - Asteroids mixed with Guitar Hero style rhythm games.
Void - Bullet Hell
Runner - Platformer / Auto Runner
Fate - Rail Shooter / Shmup
Flux - Back to the "musical pong" style of the first game.

If you do get and like the game, the sequel to runner is going to be released soon on Steam and other DD services. It ditches the visual style of the Bit Trip games, but the gameplay and music is solid.

Sorry for going off topic.

I can't break NDA

Whoo GAF's back
Vita or 3DS?

Differences except maybe the graphics (just texts, some background images and some animated figures?)
Vita has the benefit of snapshots =D and trophies if you are into that thing =/ not too much difference tbh, but I believe Vita has 3 save slots, 3DS = 1.

Vita doesn't have the bug.
Yep

No shame to me. Catherine is unplayable to me for that reason.

Japanese games always should have option with original dub.
Last Reward's NA version has both Japanese and English VA...

The 3ds version of VLR would be better if it weren't for the bug. As a 3ds owner I'd recommend buying it for Vita if you have the choice between the two.

They did the same with the Wii U. This is for getting names on a list, then they'll email when final info is available to see if you still want it or not.
Lol, sir this is Cheap Arse Gaffer =P, we want our preorder price promise lol. But I'll preorder it when it appears on Amazon lol, hope they do what they did for the Wii U lol

I do hope the price is under £400 though but games will probably be £60 =/ just hope E3 wows me enough I'll preorder it. As nice as the PS4 presentation was the games wasn't exactly everything I wanted tbh.

But if they say its region free =D

Any place I can get MH3U (Wii U version) for less than 40 quid? Shopto is the cheapest I've found (I need international shipping).

Edit: forgot to check The Hut: 38 quid + 10% extra discount with the code "SHOOTER10". Proceed at your own risk...

Im sure that by 1st Jan 2050 the price of a PS4 would be either below the price listed

or it would be actually a LOT more due to the fact that by then it could be an antique?

Hitman came with a 30 days PS+ trial code, but doesn't work on my account.
Could be because it's already PS+ or because it's not a UK account.

Quote to see the code:

Post if it worked for you :D
(don't forget to turn off automatic renewing afterwards)

Code seems to have been used by another GAFfer mate.

Thank you for this :)

So, has anyone seen any decent prices for Wii U Pro controllers? The cheapest I've seen is around £33 on amazon uk (Might have been The marketplace), and that seems like a good £10 more than I want to pay, or am I out of luck for the moment?

It always amazes me how much they gouge us for console controllers at launch, I mean, theres no way these things actually cost anything like the asking price, is there?

My Xbox Live Gold is up for renewal again at the end of this month, anyone know any good deals on 12 month prepaid cards? Doesn't seem like they're doing the special dashboard promotion this year because although the ad is on there the price is the full whack £39.99, complete with auto-renew.

Currently £27.99 at both Amazon and Argos. Best price I can see atm.

Sweet, that'll work, I can swing by Argos after work tomorrow. Thanks.

No worries, just make sure you reserve at the store in case its a wasted trip. Simply Games also have it for the same price in the form of an instant code, but figured you preferred physical since you requested a prepaid card.

Sure this has been asked many a time but what are the current cheapest deals on PS3 Dual Shock 3s? Everywhere I've searched they're over £30, and it's just too much. I don't trust ebay, either.
