Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

SWEGAF: Dustin Home are selling the Playstation Gold headset for 49 SEK (+59 for shipping). It's out of stock now but according to their system more are coming in. I got an order in and have paid for it, so we'll see how it goes.

A question for people who have been dealing with Amazon.fr -- is there any easy way to get in touch with some kind of english-speaking customer support? I've been having problems with a phone I bought from there and it's close to breaking down now so I reckon I should get in touch before the warranty runs out..

How late do Amazon dispatch stuff? My warehouse pro is due tomorrow but it still hasn't been marked as dispatched yet and I'm starting to worry a little!

I'd be surprised if you got it tomorrow. Mine was even dispatched on the right day but got stuck after leaving the warehouse and didn't get to me until the day after it was due. I think Black Friday has their warehouse and couriers too busy and they're struggling.

They can dispatch pretty late, but Amazon Logistics fuck up a lot.

Hope you enjoy getting another month of Prime!

Well I ordered mine at about 6am yesterday (Thursday) - 1 day prime delivery. Get notification 'due for delivery saturday'. Hmm seems a bit late. Earl afternoon i get a dispatch email - oh they dispatched early, cool. Nope still apparently Saturday..

Delivery has been pushed back to Tuesday :( I don't have Prime so paid for delivery so I'd get it specifically today. The wife is out all day tomorrow so was all set to do my system transfer but that's not happening now. Going to contact customer service and try to get my deliver money back at least. Just hope it doesn't get delayed any further as I head to New York on Tuesday and don't want it sat in my office for a week while I'm not there.

Amazon Prime messed up for me this week.

I ordered for delivery on Wednesday, they split my order into two. One arrived fine on Wednesday but one got to the courier place and then told me it was ready to be collected by me from there. Took ages for their customer service to sort it for me and its supposedly coming now on Saturday but I dont have much faith.

Checked the email I got when my pro was delayed. Says the new expected delivery date is the 6th-15th December and cites stock/supply issues. Not sure how that can be the case when each item listed on warehouse must be in their inventory at the time so they can assess the condition? Bit frustrating as I want to list my OG on gumtree but can't do that till I've sorted my system transfer :/

Question for anyone who ordered a Steam controller with free case from Game - did the two items come in separate packages? I received just the case this morning and the receipt that came with it only says it's a case for £8.69 with no mention of the controller which makes me worried they may have messed up the order. (Also the fact that another item in the order got a separate despatch email whereas there was a single email for the controller and case.)

Question to those who shop at GAME, can I trade in games for PSN money/PSplus?

For some reason I'm sure I read somewhere that that stuff is excluded from being bought with store credit.

Yes I've done it online recently, but in store the last time was like 3-4 years ago.

Should be fine and in fact they sometimes give additional credit when purchasing online credit like Steam/PSN etc

Is Very the best place to get a PS4 Pro currently?

Also, does anyone know if the £15 refund (after spending over 150) stacks with the 20%?

Mine despatched at the same time but pad and case came in separate packages.

How does the amazon warehouse thing work?

Basically they're items that, for whatever reason, aren't considered 'new' quality and thus are sold at cheaper cost. Sometimes that means they're damaged but functional, used and returned, or refurbished. Generally useful for getting things from amazon itself, but at a cheaper price.

To get to them, go to your account, and right next to 'Today's Deals', it should say 'Warehouse Deals'.

Just conacted Amazon customer service via chat and told them I wasn't happy paying for delivery then getting it on the same date they estimated for free delivery. They refunded my delivery charge and upgraded me to next day. It's showing as coming tomorrow now :) Can't fault amazon's customer service whenever I've had to deal with them!

yes if you can't get a warehouse deal with the discount.

Bear in mind the best overall price is probably the watch dogs bundle and then selling watch dogs afterwards (should come out at about £270 Vs £280 for the solus pack). But that will change if the trade-in value of WD drops a lot

My Amazon.co.uk Warehouse Deal PS4 Pro arrived with all the cables and manuals, but no controller :D

How do these things work with Amazon? Do I have to return the whole damn thing or is there a workaround?

Hit up their livechat and they'll probably offer you a reasonable solution, like a partial refund.

Ah didn't even see the contact us -link at first glance. Partial Refund was offered and we agreed that I'll check how to system runs in the first place and then come back at them. She made me the return ticket just in case something comes up.

I must say I was really surprised to even be able to reach somebody at this hour. Gotta admire them.

That 12 days of PSN thread is a hoot. Someone points out that 18 pounds for Fallout is dear when amazon sell the disc for 12. Defender comes in saying you can't compare and it is worth paying the premium for digital. No surprise publishers think we are all stupid.

I'm just waiting for a PS4 slim 1TB deal to pop up, there has been a few decent deals but I'm hoping waiting for Christmas bundles will pay off.

Meh, if someone is all right paying a couple of extra quid to get the game today and prefers digital, then I suppose it is a decent deal.

People can spend their money however they want, but they already waited over a year for the game, so must be at least a little price conscious. Also, it would be nice if publishers at least took current physical prices in to account when doing digital offers, since their margins are higher.

Just got a Pro for £250 off Amazon, condition is used - very good.

Anyone else get one in that condition? Any feedback?

Obviously I'm not going to spend £54.99 on a digital game because I'm not completely fucking insane, but I will always be willing to spend a few quid more to get a game digitally over physically if the resale value when I'm done with it will mean it's not worth selling. Like, that Fallout sells to CeX for five quid, and probably less if I play it for 80 hours and try and ditch it in six months time - it's not really worth selling so having an unsellable digital copy doesn't bother me.

The convenience of not pissing about swapping disks when I want to play something is worth that extra little bit of money, for me, because it means I'm more likely to actually play the game rather than just have it sit on my shelf gathering dust which, fun fact, Fallout 4 actually has been since it came out! I often find that since I know I'm going to want to play Game X again that day what's the point of putting Game Y in the console because I'll only have to swap it back again. With digital everything is just so immediate and accessible.

I am a bit lazy, but I doubt I'm alone.
