I actually got it with a friend. The cards are limited to 5 cards per person. I paid 250€ for them.

Yeah, I saw the Saturn thing. Don't really have to buy a washing machine or a new fridge so we'll see.

Yeah it's different in every city. Last year the limit here was 4, this year there was no limit. Therer are people who got THOUSANDS of € worth.

I don't expect great deals at Saturn either, but sometimes it glitches and works on pre-orders. Could get a few games for cheap.

Are you sure this still works? I tried a couple weeks ago and the SIM came with no mention of the free £10 like it used to. And I never received an email telling me "activate by X to receive £10 extra credit". :(
 
What are the chances for sub 200€ XB1S with the 19 % Media Markt thing? Probably all prices go back to 299, which would make the deal with Fifa and second controller for 229€ better.

Should be legit if it's on Mydealz.😀
But I think for those promotions they either raise prices or make products unavailable.

People always say his but it definitely doesn't happen across the board. A game that's 60€ now won't be 74€ in January. You should always compare prices anyway

Still hope that Saturn offers gift cards like Media Markt instead of 19% off ;-D

Also: the gift cards are already valid online (and also offline in my Media Markt because they had to give me cards from last year^^). All I need now is a nice offer for Nintendos Switch :-)

I figure it's best to check here, but most if not all EU retailers stopped carrying the New 3DS black model (non-XL), right? It's making it pretty hard to find a good deal anywhere when I can't even compare prices. At least in the process I learned that the Dragon Ball Z bundle one comes with the black plates and doesn't outright replace them, so that's an option and on Ebay, seems like the best price for that one is 180€+15€ from an Italian seller. Does anyone know a better deal for a N3DS black model anywhere, though?

Still works. I received 2 sims today with the £10 offer still on. They've just changed the type of sim you have to order - it's international pay & go now instead of the big talker bundle. See the top comments on that HUKD post for updated instructions.

Now's the perfect time to order sims as well. The current 02 rewards period ends on 31/12. You top up £10, wait till after the 31st then claim your 10% 02 rewards bonus which puts you on £20.50 (with the bonus £10 offer) so you can still send the text then while crediting the full £20 to your PSN account
 
FFXV season pass is a tiny bit discounted on Amazon.de, like 2.50€.

Has anybody knows if the 20% discount from the Holiday Box applies to the already discounted games? I think the 50% voucher for the Hitman upgrade does...

PS: Nope, the use date for the voucher is from 16 to 31 of January :|

PS2: Confirmed, the 50% upgrade voucher for Hitman works dspite saying that is only available during January, leaving the upgrade at 10€. And Dragon Quest Heroes is also at 10€ in the SE store (Steam) so hurry up because it seems like is a mistake like the FF titles from the last sale.

Get the international payg sim.

The sims it's valid for are listed in the O2 T&C page. The simply payg is no longer listed.

The ones it's valid for have the FREE10 offer listed on the packaging.

Top up £10, do FREE10 to double credit. Takes a few hours.
Sign up you for rewards.
Pay £15 to PSN if you want instant credit leaving £4.90 on sim after the txt to PSN.
Wait till 4th day of next quarter and claim the 5% reward as credit: 50p. Sim now has £5.40 on it.
Pay £5 to PSN.
Bin sim with left over 30p.
Repeat. Once/month per email address.
 
I'm pretty tempted to pick up ReCore, it's currently going for £15 in that Countdown sale. The general consensus at the time seemed to be that the game, despite having some cool ideas, was a bit of a technical mess. Anyone know if it has been patched into a more acceptable state?

It got a patch to improve loading times and fix some of the more glaring bugs, but it's still not great on Xbone. The PC version is much better, though sadly limited to the Windows 10 store.

No, the loading times are insufferable and it dips well below 30fps when the action gets busy despite looking fairly unremarkable and not even being 1080p. Still a good game but it's one the biggest technical messes of this generation.
 
Has anyone seen any cheap-ish physical copies of The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 anywhere? They seem to have shot up in price at the few places still with stock.

CEX have it for £15 if that's of any use to you.
