Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

Anyone got a good recommendation for HDMI cables? I've just bought a new TV and my current setup isn't dealing with HDR at all.

I'm trying to avoid being ripped off, whilst also avoiding some knock-off crap.

And it's back in stock. But I have feeling that it will go out of stock quickly like the last time. So grab the game before it's too late.

Also Root Letter LE(PS4) is back in stock.

Both of those games just say "Sorry, we are unable to add the specific item to the basket as it is temporarily out of stock." even though they show as being in stock.

Root Letter was able to go into my basket, but half way through checkout I was told it had been removed as it was now out of stock, so I'm guessing the store pages take a moment to update after the last items are gone.

The Witch And The Hundred Knight PS4 12,74€ at Amazon.it:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B019N3P33I/
Totally worth it for that price!

Random question guys, maybe this is not the best thread:, but if someone pays you for an item with paypal F&F, how do you prevent them to do a charge back? (I guess you can't right?) because an user want to buy me a console (i'm in Europe) and he is from the USA, but it's a junior member with no feedback so I'm hesitating (and yeah, I trust no one with transactions =p).

You could try contacting Ghostlight maybe? Not sure what happened to their store. They used to sell directly to customers, and there is still a "Cart" on their website, but not sure if they still sell physical copies, or if they have any left. I suggest you ask them through Twitter: https://twitter.com/ghostlightgames or https://twitter.com/Ghostlight_Ross

http://www.ghostlight.uk.com/games/nintendo-3ds/devil-survivor-overclocked.html

Thanks. Yeah, I know about the site, it's where I got my old one in the first place. Doesn't look like they're selling anything anymore though. It's weird.

I sent them a tweet like you advised though, hopefully they'll reply.

Given we haven't had any new physical releases in ages I seem to spend a lot of time down in the warehouse lately.

So he may have actually checked for you if they have any copies left.

What's the consensus on Amazon warehouse deals, specifically the condition of each item (Like New, Very Good, Good, etc)? Anyone know what really defines these tiers? Anyone have any experience?

There are official definitions in the help or someplace, and I reckon Warehouse go by that pretty well. They will also give additional descriptions in the listing. In my experience, they are at the upper end of the spectrum, quality-wise, compared to other professional sellers.

I got a very good ps vr, and it was new.., so no idea why was flagged as such, it even has the protector films on it.. weird, so, I guess it's a lottery, if you get something faulty you can always return it.

i think once the product is returned, whether used or not, they cannot class it as brand new

Yeah, but they could have marked it as "like new" , not "very good" even the box wasn't damage.., maybe it was on display or something.

I've had a lot of stuff that's literally just slight box damage, and some where its clearly open box. Either way, I've never been disappointed with the quality of an AW item and I know if I change my mind its easy enough to return at now cost of my own. Highly recommend doing it, especially as its normally at least a 10% discount. You get the same 1 year warranty on stuff as well as you normally would with a "New" item.

Does anyone know if Argos have a pre order price promise?

I have a £10 off voucher that runs out soon and was thinking of using it against a pre-order.
If the price drops say £5, does it take the £10 off the new price or would it see the order is cheaper than the current list price and not remove the £10, but just £5?

Honestly, I'd be surprised if the let you use it against a pre-order at all. Argos are weird about pre-orders.

Yup - charge back is not possible with F&F. Once the money is sent, it's gone.

Well, I got a reply. Unfortunately Ghostlight said they no longer sell games directly from their site and that Overclocked is out of print. They're trying to get a reprint going but it depends on retailer interest.

And honestly, I don't want to get my hopes up so I'm going to assume a reprint isn't happening.

:/

I always thought their stock had been passed onto NIS since they randomly added the Overclocked bundle with the posters to their stoe(it was originally exclusive to Ghostlight).

Sadly it sold out through NIS.

we should write them, because i would love to see companies making reprints and selling them from their website.

have a look at limited run games, they printing a lot of indie-games and all of them are sold out after a few weeks....

A reprint would be cool since they could include the patch, as the game is pretty much broken without it. I'd probably buy it again in that case even though my copy works.

You can't compare what Limited Run Games do with this, lol.

Sorry to hear that. I guess it was a bit of a stretch to hope for them still selling copies.

not that sure, but 505 games occured, when there was a need for low-budget japanese games in europe. they started to do their business like this.

i dont see a problem here. the problem is, ghostlight/atlus/whoever want money, not just a small bit, but a lot. thats the main-problem.

actually i think this hurts the brand, to make it hard to acquire games.

Are we talking about the same company here (Ghostlight)? They did Elminage Original LE on PSP and made zero profits on it. Intentionally, btw. Their business plan on that release was to break even.

Honesly, Devil Survivor 2 didn't release that long ago so there's that, but other than that I don't see anything that would cause much Overclocked demand at this point. I don't think there are all that many people looking for a copy at this point outside of me, though I'd love to be wrong. Except not really because at this point they're competition. :p

But the game is going for a lot on the used market (and it seems to be scarce there too) so maybe there's some sort of demand?

But yeah, digital is an option, and it's probably the sensible one considering Overclocked really does need that patch in Europe so the physical release is flawed anyway. It's just that I'm a huge SMT fan and a bit of a collector so I'll always value that physical release. It's why I got it originally in the first place!

Oh yeah, I saw them selling it too, you're probably right with what happened to the stock.

Sad thing is I seriously considered picking up a second copy from NIS back when it was up just because I wanted the poster and had some credit. But it is what it is. Hindsight and all that. D:

Belgium and The Netherlands Cheap Arse GAF:

Game Mania have The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (PSVita) for €19,98 (brand new).

in my experience, it pays off to read the condition (especially with "Like New") in concert with the item description, e.g. my regular Xbox One was "Like New" with "factory sealed" added in the description

which, it was still factory sealed, I couldn't even find a small dent in the box or other superficial flaws

I bought Wolfenstein The Old Blood and Dishonored Definitive Edition from the UK warehouse as used, both shown up at my door in mint condition, still sealed.
I was probably lucky though, it seems that it's pretty random whether you get something in good condition or not but you can always return the item if you're not happy with it's condition.

mmmh, but french edition are in french right? ( I mean the covers, books, etc)

Probably, but there isn't much to read on a cover or in an artbook. The game itself should have English and Japanese voice options. And I don' t want any USK logos on the boxes so I am ordering this edition.

So guys this may be a common issue but how come PS4 Pro is out of stock is this just an odd time for Sony, or has their been issues getting hold of one since launch.

I got a very good ps vr, and it was new.., so no idea why was flagged as such, it even has the protector films on it.. weird, so, I guess it's a lottery, if you get something faulty you can always return it.

I got a "very good" PS VR too and the box was a slightly torn. The headset had been used and the HDMI cable was missing. None of the other accessories had been touched - I guess someone swapped the headset or something.
