If the package is damaged by the time it hits the retailer, the unit gets sent back, tested and because it's then used, the price is reduced. There's a local retailer here who sells warehouse TV's. My sister-in-law picked up a 65" 4K TV for £700 a month or so back. The only thing that was wrong with it was the box was damaged.

Warehouse deals are offering £50 off a £200 spend till the end of today. I'm sure there might be a new BF deal but Amazon will be overloaded by viewers around BF so sniping a good deal can be very hard.

I mean the second these PS4 Pros were popping up after people started becoming aware of them they were sold in minutes.

Just checked, it doesn't show up on the page you posted. And if you use that XBOX Link and select PS4 edition there, it says €55.

Hi guys, please help me out. I want to buy a Wii U but the prices for the Premium model are too high imo. Is the Premium model a big upgrade? Best deal I've found so far is 189 quids on Amazon UK for the basic pack.

EDIT: Wow the 189 quids is for a USED console. Whats with these Wii U console prices?

I wouldn't be surprised if there were big black friday deals with it now out of production.
 
There haven't been Wii U deals for months. I think Nintendo would prefer that people buy the Switch next year. Wii U is probably already written off.

Production was basically at none for a very long time and now it's looking like it's officially out of production for Europe (globally?).

There was a time when you could get a basic + a couple of games for sub £150 (Got a second one at the end of 2014 with just dance and NSMBU for this price to give my sisters), but those fire sales to dump stock happened a long time ago now I'm afraid, and it's probably never going back to that, there simply isn't the supply for it to be needed.

The only serious difference between wii u basic and wii u premium at this point is that you get a game (typically nintendoland) and 32GB of storage instead of 8GB. If you only want a small amount of DLC, like say the Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks and smash characters, you'll probably be fine with the Premium. If you get the basic and plan to download anything, expect to need an external hard drive though.

The major stock clearing efforts happened months, possibly over a year ago at this point.

I think the Basic also doesn't come with the Wiimote sensor bar? And you can probably just plug in a 32GB USB flash drive and be good.

So I basically have to bite the bullet and buy a new Premium model at around 240 quids? Dammit. GAME has a pre-owned model (Premium) at 150 quids http://www.game.co.uk/en/wii-u-black-console-grade-c-680300 . Seems like my best option right?

Probably best option yeah. I'd still wait and see if anything comes up over Black Friday, cause that pre-owned price will be there regardless.

Also get Nintendont on there once you get it ¬_¬

I just bought a Wii U since I wanted to play all the exclusives and then sell it again before Switch, so I just looked for a good deal on a used/refurbished one. I just couldn't justify buying one new for RRP.

And yeah just wait until next week, maybe there's a small chance something will happen on Black Friday or the monday after. At least Wii Us will probably not become MORE expensive in that time
 
Really was hoping for a good ps 4 deal, don't care if it is the OG one since i just want it for a couple of exclusives. But there are like no good deals. :(
