Everyone is going to work like it's not going to happen, including me. But it hasn't started yet, so who knows what's gonna happen.
News claims the worst has been blown South. Good news for this north-sider.
Heeey another gaffer on my campus?![]()

It has already begun here.
Heeey another gaffer on my campus?Im in Champaign IL and its been very windy and snowy down here. I will edit this with a pc in a minute.
Im in Champaign IL...
Edit: another?
I figured you meant you were at UofI in Chicago.
Yeah, I say UIUC normally, just UoIL in general online since most people don't recognize UIUC.Local lingo at least up in Chicago is that UIC is U of I @ Chicago and U of I is UIUC.
Here in St. Louis, lots of businesses and schools closed and everything kept melting as it hit the pavement. My job opened 2 hours late but I went in anyway, the roads were perfectly fine
In Northbrook and shit's blowing horizontal from the wind.
Horizontal?
In North Chicago the stuff is going straight up in the air.
Last I saw it was at least
Sitting in my cube at the moment
You call this a blizzard? Right now it's melting as soon as it hits the ground.
To commuters, be careful. Many of the lights at intersections are blocked with snow. Red light, especially is very hard to see and some people are blowing reds and almost hitting traffic. Stay safe Chicago Gaf.
