That's a pretty good re-imagining of the character. For a grappler though he sure didn't do much grappling in that video. This game is shaping up nicely.

I said this in the other thread but he looks like more of a t. hawk style command grappler instead of a straight up 'Gief style grappler. Which fits the KI gameplay much better, IMO.

He looks great though. Very happy they brought the triple axes back, always thought that looked cool in the original. Though I am a little sad that the mohawk is gone.

Wouldn't be hard if they hew closely to her original design.

I just hope she and the other female characters have human-looking midsections. The old designs were Dragon Crown status before Vanillaware even existed.

It's hard to do a good job with an inspiration like Chief Thunder, but they did a pretty good job. I especially like how he now makes lightning strikes with his attacks; old Chief Thunder didn't really have much in the way of thunder.

Argh, fun-looking fighting game on the Xbone, Xbone is 500 dollars with a Kinect I don't want, such a conundrum. I gotta hand it to the developers, they completely turned my opinion around on this game with how detailed they were discussing it with the fans.

As a Chief Thunder player I'm satisfied with his look. Coolest native american character model ever. Love the dripping warpaint. That touch does imply emotion on his part like they said. It was nice to hear their commentary on my favorite KI character.

Pretty sure it's going to be Orchid. I had interviewed Mick Gordon 2 weeks ago and he told me after the call, there's a good chance it'll be a recognizable female character.
