anyone who has read about this case, like me, probably would never expect the killer to be caught after him going into hiding for over 10 years and the first killing started more than 20 years ago. I have read articles and discussions over the years and I never expected this elusive serial killer to ever be caught...some even speculated him to be dead or in jail.

but out of nowhere I read that they have found the guy!

some background for those who don't know, he killed 11, cut their throat while alive, stabbed them many times and miltiated the bodies, raped some (or just 1?). youngest victim is only 8 years old.

apparently, from the Chinese articles I read (which are way more in depth and have more information), he's from a wealth family.

And when he first started killing, it was right around the time his first child was born. His last killing was when his son got 1st on college exam in his town/city (this kind of thing seems to be a prestigious there). So these may be trigger points to his killing and stopping.

Many serial Killers hide in plain sight. Most of them aren't the creepy Son of Sam or Gacy types.

Not many as cold as the ice man though. That dude literally had his mind made up on the whole thing and seemed generally relaxed and quite sane.
