Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers | Teaser Trailer | Disney+

HOLY SHIT.

At my Dawn of Creation, there were 4 shows and 4 NES games:

Mario, TMNT, Ducktales and Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers.

Love that Scrooge has a cameo, swimming in money no less. DAY. ONE.

Ok, not what I expected and that's a good thing. I do like that they kept the 2D aspect and explained Dale as "CGI makeover" which fits quite well in this context.

Honestly my only nitpick is that it's not their actual voices from the show.

might have to finally sub to Disney+

I dunno, the "self-aware" jokes are becoming too mainstream now with every movie just making fun of itself for "rebooting". I did laugh at the cgi bit. Eh could be good, could be shit. Will see.

I guess they were able to work things out with Spielberg to allow Roger Rabbit in this.

Maybe since he directed West Side Story for Fox Disney was able to use that as their in to get permission? (Spielberg co-owns Roger and had a huge falling out with Eisner regarding the use of the character).

Looks cool. Also seems like a good time to point out the original full length theme song is incredible.

That's some amazing montage.
The sax blowing when Dale gets kissed is perfection, lol.

The trailer for the new show really surprised me. I expected the worst, when it ended I was grinning like an idiot. Looks very promising, and this comes from an old Duck Tales fan that never saw a complete episode of C&D Rescue Rangers.

I have my doubts.

Who really have the rights of Roger Rabbit?

Is Disney or another company?

A show within a show concept is one I've just never liked. One of the few thematic storytelling devices I just don't enjoy and can't engage with.

Looks like it could be ok. I imagine I will be able to check it out on D+ at some point. Seth Rogen? Ugh. Member when he was funny?

Looks fun. I need to watch the new Ducktales at some point as well, I heard Season 1 was a bit uneven but the show found its footing after that.

Also, that first use of the word "bitch" in the song was not as heavily censored as I think the people who made this trailer think it was.
