I can't fucking believe it went back up to 92. What a damn game. These people should be so fucking proud. It makes me sad thinking they were probably looking with despair at the oblivion timing when they absolutely fucking cooked with this.

Gratz to them man, that's all I can say. 100% legit. I am shocked and delighted. They pulled it off and we are all the better for it. Great job gents.

Also, this proves that late embargo doesn't = bad game.

Also, turn based making a comeback in western development! First BG3 and tons of cool isometric stuff and now Clair Obscure Expedition 33. Do we have something we are calling it now? COE33? Bring it on. Between this, srpgs and jrpgs and the new star wars tactics game we are eating good turn based enjoyers!

Bought and preloaded on PS5, got the deluxe edition after seeing the Noisy Pixel review.

There's this saying of "voting with your wallet" that gets thrown around a lot when talking about the state of AAA gaming. Now's the time to "vote with your wallets".
I looked at the deluxe edition but you don't seem to get shit for it so I'm just going with the base game. Wish these publishers would give a bit more for these deluxe editions.

This wasn't on my radar until last week for some reason but looks fantastic. I could use a good turn-based RPG after working through Lies of P & Khazan. No more parrying!!! Oh wait…

I'm surprised. It looked good, but in that certain way where you question a good looking trailer. Takes me back to Lost Odyssey/Folklore for some odd reason. Ordered a copy on Amazon. My poor wallet

With the PSN discount it was 53 euros and I got 4 gorgeous skins and an incredible game at a fair price whilst supporting the devs a tad more. I'm fine with that ☺️

Uninspired probably isnt the word you are looking for.

Try word your critique better, cuz from everything ive seen of this game calling it uninspired is nigh literally the opposite of what this is.
From some more spoilery reviews the later worlds and abilities are actually even more creative than what we have been shown so far.
I literally told you I'm not sure. That something is off. Someone replied that maybe it looks bland. So yeah. It looks bland and does everything we have already seen in video games. It grabs a bunch of ideas from other game it looks like. You can still love the game.

Watching the trailers and the combat videos, there is nothing bland about this game or the story. This is one of the freshest ideas I have seen in a while both from a gameplay and a world design mindset.

I preordered last night as it was on sale and I had a hunch it was gonna be good. Better than I even thought. Launching below $50, then getting a sale on that was a no brainier for me. Now hopefully the reviews are justified

Not the type of game I'd play but the production values look solid. Never heard of Sandfall Interactive. Their first game and according to wiki the dev team is only 30 people.
