I believe that he went on a weird tangent about Europe/British is a superior bla bla bla compared to the US and since he did that quite often, the last ban was a perm.
Seems a lot of the most well known posters are some of the most notorious and of course, banned for it after enough time. That or they become mods. Still its always funny seeing all these people asking what happened to them and the answer is almost always,"BANNED"

One the biggest times in lurking for me was the smash bros dojo thread and so I really loved the regulars of that thread. Especially Jiggy (Jiggy37) with their crazy write ups. They just vanished after getting into an argument about disliking the direction the Wii Shop took after 2008 (of less Virtual Console games). It is exactly a satisfying closure...

That could have possibly been Richey Edwards from the Manic Street Preachers! Now we'll never know and he continues to be missing.
Impersonating people on internet message boards is somewhere pretty close to the most utterly pathetic thing a person can do. I don't know what has to happen in someone's life to get to that point. Fucking hell.

Banned along with three others due to some nonsense that went down in Anime GAF last year. Can't remember the exact details but I know it involved To Love Ru (which is a mistake and is nothing but trash) and Cajun coming to the defense of another user.
On topic, this thread made me realize I do not know a whole lot of classic GAF posters despite being here since 2014. That said, the standout example for me would be Fiction.
