It's a guess based on BlimBlim's hinting. Someone listed a few potential "events" coming soon (related to xenon), of which that was one, and BlimBlim said one of these was true. GTA seemed the most likely to me (the others seemed way out there, iirc).

Though I'm honestly not sure how reliable BlimBlim is (no offence to the man, I guess I'm out of the loop as to how he established his credentials here).

I'm not the one who started hinting about something. For me it was the Square thing we were talking about yesterday. It's far from done, and I certainly would never have hinted at anything I was not sure would happen
Ho and for the one thinking it's bad for international journalists who couldn't get to the press event, I don't think anyone ever mentionned it would be a press event

Nope - that's a timed Revolution exclusive.

That's been my hunch for a while, too. New GTAs go to Xbox 2 for the same 6-month (or however long) exclusive deal Sony had this gen. Everyone who seems to have a little inside info keeps talking about a huge announcement. Well, other than Square/Enix exclusivity (which ain't happening) I can't think of anything else that would really qualify as a huge announcement, but I'm probably way off.

I don't see any list in this topic, but yes I'm indeed hinting at a big announcement. If it happens, there is a big chance it will be at the TGS as a way to hype the system in japan a few months before release, and of course it's Square related (look at yesterday's topic, it's not a done deal yet). Maybe there is some other big announcement I know nothing about of course.
Phatsaqs: That's another thing MS is trying to get for sure, but I would not call this a *BIG* announcement. Except for fans of the series (great games for sure) of course

One thing to keep in mind: Final Fantasy XI, Chrono Trigger 3, and new Bushido Blade were all rumoured to be in development for the XBox before they were quitely canned.

I think Square-Enix will likely support PS3 only with a few Revolution titles perhaps.

There's also Square rumors with Microsoft, there certainly were a ton for the XBox.

I doubt Bushido Blade, Chrono Trigger 3, of FFXI for XBox were ever really in development.

I hope Sony stays with black, especailly the "glossy" black finish they used on the PSP.

There's a piece of concept art for the PS3 that looks like a stereo component had sex with a PSP. I hope they use that.

I don't know the shape, just that it will be more "round". I know they really want to make a device that everyone would be happy to put besides their TV because it looks good.
It should be much smaller than the current Xbox, about the size of the old PS2 I guess.
