Some games deserve a second chance; and we couldn't be more proud to contribute to it. This new version ensures that players can finally experience it as intended: preserved, stable, and updated with a host of technical improvements and quality-of-life upgrades. It is, of course, launching as a part of our GOG Preservation Program. And that's not all – alongside Cold Fear, I Am Alive is also joining GOG in a newly fixed and updated version.

Both great games.

I remember buying and playing I am Alive on the 360 when it was out using MS points (800 or 1600 I don't exactly remember) and enjoyed it for what it was, but the game was slow and the Dead Rising-like mechanic where you have to come back to the safe house before the fog starts affecting your health was annoying in the beginning.

ah i recall cold fear, i havent finish it in PS2, i think i should try again soon.
few days ago, i read about the review of this game, how they are compared with RE4 at the time

Cold Fear was pretty decent although I prefer Deep Fear more.

If Cold Fear was built more like the old classic Resident Evil/Deep Fear a.k.a less action and less respawning enemies than I would have loved it a lot more.

Too bad it got completely neglected originally cause it came out very close to the industry redefining behemoth that was RE4.
