Bowling Green's 2012 schedule includes Idaho, Rhode Island ... Virginia Tech and Florida.

God dammit.

In brighter news, we're back in the MAC West to fuck up Northern Illinois and Toledo's seasons once more. Rejoice.

That Va Tech game could be pretty tough.

My only memories of Gardner this season are a great TD pass in the Illinois, and a complete derp play against MSU where he ran five yards past the line of scrimmage before passing. He could be solid or he could suck.
With only 23 passes total, it's difficult to seriously evaluate his passing ability, but I consider his running game to be the most disappointing aspect so far. This year he had 53 yards on 25 runs without showing any glimpses of talent that make Robinson brilliant. Then again, it's really difficult to distinguish between Borges's scheme and the runner in that scheme. Gardner was utilized in all sorts of weird ways.

Of course, Gardner is only likely to get one year at most as the starter.

Both of these teams should just shift to some form of the 4-7, because their secondaries are baaaaaaaaad.

Right call all around. Thy didn't call it a Clemson TD, didn't stop the play early, and they got the review right. Nice one refs.

You had to know that Clemson was going to Clems at some point. But wow.

Sammy Watkins, you should have come to Florida so you could have been criminally underutilized and faded into obscurity.

It's over, now. Lost our starting LT for the game, and the two games he was out earlier in the season, we lost. And we lost bad. Just no depth on the line.

Holy shit at the Ref moving his foot when he was marking the spot once he realized his original spot was going to be short of the first down.

Holy shit at the ref standing 3 feet away from the West Virginia DB doing his best impression of a coat on the Clemson player.

The BEAST is a very difficult conference.

All of the teams are so good, they just beat each other up.

(Feel free to use this post if Clemson makes a miraculous comeback)

Why do people identify with their conference?

FSU won their bowl game and that is all I care about. I don't give two shits if Clemson or Virginia Tech or NC State win or lose.

I dont "identify" with the acc per se, but as a um fan I want the other acc teams to succeed and be good, if only so our games/wins are more meaningful

overall perception has an effect on all programs within, including recruiting of future talent and national ranking. when you're joined at the hip to shit, it can be a problem unless you have a long history of success. it gets pretty easy to justify you being left out of say...THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME when your opponents are considered to be substandard.
