To this day, I still think that was a dumb call for Nebraska.lol we fire Bo and he's going to his division's national championship
meanwhile over in Nebraska, our starters can't stop a pop quiz, let alone a rush offense

With the time limit that coaches can spend with spend with players, recruiting is more important IMO. Obviously coaching matters, but hard to overcome a huge talent disparity.is Saban even a good coach or just a great recruiter
Washingtons peterson should be corch of the year
Saban once called himself a shit coach that nobody would ever out-recruit. An obvious exaggeration, but still funny.
Kinda funny no one ever considers Saban for COTY. We had so many questions this season, with the main one being who would take the reins behind center, and he's lead us to an undefeated season and a third straight playoff birth. And he doesn't appear to be slowing down any.
What's the first bowl game everyone's looking forward to this upcoming week?

The seniors and redshirt juniors were Shula's. Saban had the 2007,2008 and 2009 recruiting classes before his first MNC.Didn't saban win his first national championship with Shula's shit players? Can't remember when their first national championship was.

I wonder how many of Shula's players were actually playing. I'd say the few that remained after Saban's rounds of roster management may have actually contributed, but wouldn't be shocked if the more talented, younger players played a significant role. The seniors and redshirt juniors were Shula's. Y'all really took the time to research answers for my troll question lol. Of course Saban is a great coach and could probably win with a lot less talent than he has, but could he win with Zero All Americans like Washington? Probably not in the SEC. Good news for Washington is that making the playoffs will lure those All Americans on the West coast to play for Washington.
That's only UA All-Americans.
It's not like Petersen is recruiting people no one's ever heard of.

McElroy was a RS Junior. He was back in 2010.The QB was a senior. Leading rusher was a junior. 3 of the top 5 tacklers were juniors. Top 3 in sacks were 2 seniors and 1 junior. Top 3 in picks were all juniors.
The number 1 receiver was some freshman named Julio Jones that caught more passes than almost everyone else combined for some strange reason. Second most receptions belonged to junior running back Glen Coffee. Second leading rusher was freshman Mark Ingram.
So I dunno, it was only Saban's second year but outside of Ingram and Jones it seems like the core were all juniors and seniors. I didn't dig into the defensive stats enough to see how many under classmen contributed but it's hard to say any of them were more than role players.
SEC off to a great start in bowls. 1-0!

Ohhhh yeah. When's the last time the sec had a losing bowl record. Did it ever happen?
Maybe one day, Miss State will do well enough to make it to a big time bowl game, one with millions of viewers.
Just so more people out there will come to understand what we already know: That the NCAA needs to ban the cowbell.
Yes indeed we are! They'll never get rid of us for that reason alone.Vanderbilt's the Alabama of the SEC if you just look at academics.

What an embarrassing performance on literally every level. How is this the same team that embarrassed UT a few weeks ago? Lol
Buck says a lot of things...Buck told me that if it's true, it's not shit talking.
MACtion doing great this year in bowls.
0-5 so far.
They probably know the offensive play calls already.Anyone watching these bowl games? I'm at work so I can't, but the Temple/Wake Forest game seems pretty good. Temple is making a comeback it looks like
