It was a week ago but the gunshot injury was described as "minor."
Apparently this is the second time in 8 years that a Bama player has played less than a week after suffering a gunshot wound.

That's a great heads-up play by by the corner on FSU. If you get beat, hold the guy. It's better to make the defense snap the ball again (esp in CFB when it's not a spot foul) than to give up a TD.

No. I think "spot foul" in the NFL is one of worst rules in all of sports. Makes mediocre QBs like Joe Flacco throw bombs on 3rd down to force the refs to determine the game rather than players.
