Up until he committed to USC, he was long thought to be a Bama lean because of his brother. I don't blame him for wanting to go elsewhere; his brother has some big shoes to fill.

Also, his WR coach will be James Coley, who previously was OC at Miami. So he's getting a coach that was a recruiter and coach near where he came from. Seems like a better fit to me, but there's no telling with 17-18 year old kids what they'll do.

Im not sure whats more egregious the amount of "claimed" national championships, the spelling error, or the parking job.
He had impressive Jedi Mind powers that night, making Bama's Running Back QB throw a horrendously bad pick six and making Alabama forget that Derrick Henry was on the roster.

Sounds like they got word on Wednesday. So I would think it only affected them for yesterday and today, maybe not even yesterday if it was received later in the day.
I would assume that this will set a precedent for other teams to request the waiver prior to the week starting so that this won't happen again going forward.

What Deacon said. This has likely been known since Pruitt was hired, though I'm surprised it leaked before the game, though UGA beat writers had been hinting at it for weeks.
Yep. He's a great secondary coach. His weekness was against the run but I don't think that'll be as much of a problem at Bama with their existing personnel and Saban's involvement in recruiting philosophy.
Tucker doesn't want to do recruiting.
I do think he helped, as it's hard to deny a shift back to being a top 5-10 passing defense after spending 2 years in average town. But I really place the lions share of the credit to Bo Davis and the improvements on the D-Line pass rushing. Talking about 2-3 times more sacks and pressures from the front 3/4 than the previous 3-4 years, and everyone knows a secondary's best friend is pressuring the quarterback.
To me, the ongoing, most important coach to keep beyond Saban, is Bo Davis.
I don't think Alabama, under Saban, has had a player with double digit sacks in a year, and this year they have 2 (Allen and Williams)

Actually, it's on the Alabama side. Clemson tickets going for about twice as much as Alabama tickets. Bama fans are too busy buying tape in order to incorrectly use "your" on the back of their trucks.

Doesn't surprise me. I think we've probably been outspent on tickets in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015 just because it's not a "new experience" at this point.
