Agreed 100%. But I'm really glad to see EJ (and Jimbo) learn from the NC State game and be more aggressive offensively with the two minute drive. That was truly a HUGH drive.

Lol defense cant hold the one drive they need to and then Logan throws an INT, yup thats our season hahah oh man. At least the game was fun to watch tonight, good game FSU, hope you keep rolling.

Played pretty shitty, but VT defense also played really, really well. Did not expect that.

Normally I would scoff at the notion of a college team beating a pro team, but realistically, could last year's Alabama team beat the Jaguars? they have more talent on offense with richardson, Gabbert looks incompetent and MJD is injured at the moment.

Aside from some missed throws by Manuel, some mental mistakes by Freeman, and some questionable play calls (same Freeman play) I think we played alright. That Virginia Tech run defense was just unbelievable.

The argument is always depth. Over four quarters an NFL team would dominate any college team. Not every player on Alabama's depth chart will make it to the NFL...whereas every player on an NFL team is by definition in the NFL. There are also more mature body types and the most underrated factor of all: experience.

I expected more from ball handling and EJ's passing. FSU D was also hit and miss.

So does FSU get to be the team of destiny now? Or do you have to go to OT with an unranked team to do that?

This was the game I expected at the start of the season when VT was ranked. I knew it was going to be tough. Lane is a beast of a stadium and Thursday hates the Noles, but they squeaked out a win.

I don't think FSU would have won if they hasn't lost to NC State. They learned from that game.

Given your performance last season in the Orange against the BE WVU, Clemson should be banned from any big time bowls for a decade. I can't believe I sat through that in person.

What a shitshow. I fear what would happen against a SEC/Big XII champ or runner up.

Anyways, I missed the game because I went to see Skyfall, sounds like FSU played like shit, but Beamer through out his patented prevent and choked the game away?

Doubt FSU plays this shit for the Florida game, but at least we have prep time.

What a crazy ending. Thank god my phone and the WatchESPN app -- got to see the Rashad TD and literally yelled out YES! in the middle of a concert, lol. Unfortunately it allowed me to see that dumbass batch of plays that lead to the safety as well. What a mess that was.

This kid has been absolutely terrible all year. Not sure he's ever going to get better either.. he never has enough leg behind his kicks IMO. I guess we'll see as he's only a True FR.

I could have been there, but didn't feel like driving from Tampa to Miami. I would say I dodged a bullet, but I probably would have been enjoying the hell out of it as a non-fan of either team.

Oh, and I was at the Champs Sports Bowl between WVU and NC State. I can't remember who I "rooted" for, though. I want to say it was WVU, because I happened to be wearing Navy. Didn't do much good.

No actually. Fsu played fairly well except for a few hilariously bad plays and Virginia tech played overly aggressive on the last drive and we scored on a big crossing route.

Interesting, though. I just remember a few years back, I think it was the Boston College game back in the Matty Ice days. And many times since, when Beamer prevent has blown the game.

I read some tweet about a foot being out of bounds possibly? On that TD, or a pick, or something else?
