Doubly sweeter because TURKEYNECK is their DC.

I actually feel bad for Van Gorder. He was a great DC for us in the early 00's. He also has our joke of a defensive coordinator, Willie Martinez, as his secondary coach and I see the same issues in their secondary that we had when he was with us. Guys just don't know where to be, playing soft coverage, don't know how to tackle, etc.

I was skeptical about how they would do in the Big 12 before the season, and I guess I was right.

The Big 12 is much more WEEK IN WEEK OUT than the BEast.
Already been touched on, but WVU was a 3 loss team in a 3 way tie for the championship getting to the BCS by virtue of BCS ranking. Anyone grounded in reality could have told you they're not as good as the media portrayed them the second they left the BE.

And UCF going for the trifecta taking out Miami in the women's soccer NCAA tourney, blowing out USF in their home opener in basketball and hopefully keeping it up against UTEP football tonight.

Not even halfway through the 3rd quarter and Jordan-Hare is almost empty. Except for the Georgia fans.

Somebody tell me you got a screengrab of the Auburn fan with a bag over their head. Needs to be in the OP too.

Anyone counting Bama out already must have forgot about last season.

The three remaining undefeated teams each have at least one ranked opponent left. Only two of them need to lose since a 1 loss Bama would trump any other 1 loss team in the polls if they beat Georgia in the SEC Championship. Boston College may be the first piece of that puzzle.

Also, Marquess Wilson has left WSU? He's blaming Leach for being abusive. Holy shit!

Here's his resignation, bolding mine:

Dear Cougar Nation:

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my decision to forgo playing football for Washington State University. I realize the school is saying that I am suspended for violating team policies and may return next week, but this is a lie. This is an attempt by the athletic department to cover up what is really happening in that locker room.

It is been a privilege to be a Cougar, to perform on your field and wear the Crimson and Gray. I would like to thank Washington State University for giving me the opportunity to do what I love most, to play football and receive a quality education for the past three years. I'm grateful to the athletic department for the coaching, care and encouragement I have received prior to this season.

This was going to be our year. My teammates and I were aspiring to be the winning team you deserve. Unfortunately for all, the new coaching staff has destroyed that endeavor. I believe coaches have a chance to mold players, to shape men, to create greatness. However, the new regime of coaches has preferred to belittle, intimidate and humiliate us. This approach has obviously not been successful, and has put a dark shadow on this program.

My teammates and I have endured this treatment all season long. It is not "tough love". It is abuse. This abuse cannot be allowed to continue. I feel it is my duty to stand up and shed light on this situation by sacrificing my drams, my education and my pride. I resign from this team. I am deeply sorry to those I am letting down. I am not a quitter. I was raised by my family, and many previous coaches to exhibit dedication and embrace sacrifice, but there comes a time when one has to draw a line in the sand.

Lastly, I thank my fellow teammates, those who also have left the program this year, and those we are leaving behind. I hope our departure will bring awareness to the physical, emotional and verbal abuse being allowed in the locker room and on the field. I pray for healing and recovery for all those who have been hurt by this treatment

Sincerely, Marquess Wilson

Also, how do you SECSECSECSEC guys feel knowing that your best chance at getting a SEC team back into the MNC rests on the shoulders of Lane Kiffin?

Don't let us down, we're counting on you.

But hey, I don't care about any other SEC teams getting there but I hope every undefeated team loses and we end up there.

Man, poor Auburn.

I think their best shot at stopping us from scoring comes from letting us run down the field too fast and get worn out. If Richt wants to, this could get even uglier, if possible in the 4th quarter when their defense is really gassed.

SC got a trap game next week.

Also does A&M move up to #8 after this win?

Two teams above us have already lost, and we'll definitely jump Stanford. I'd like to say #9, but #10 seems more likely. I doubt we'll get the jump over the glut of SEC teams already in the Top 10.

Probably not quite that far. That's a huge jump. I was thinking about 9 or 10 though.

Only reason I said that high because ESPN and most others considered ALOLABAMA THEE best school in College football

Time: UCLA is unpredictable. Don't know which team is gonna show up.

I think what will happen is that Bama will drop to 4 or 5, and A&M will come up to about 10. Bama gets the benefit of the doubt and doesn't get a huge drop even though the loss was at home, but A&M won't get a jump above the SEC teams.

It really depends on if the pollsters re-evaluate after this week. Assuming all win, I expect Oregon to get about 2/3 of the first place votes, KSU most of the rest and a couple to ND. FSU is loved by humans and hated by PCs; after this last game they may drop a bit in comparison to others.

Or of course pollsters could ignore all logic and just move everybody up one. Remember that computers are better because they take emotion out of the equation, unless they get the 'wrong' answer.

OKC, but my Dad's family is from the area. OU had a guy from there but I think he died.
Yeah, Austin Box. That was pretty sad.

We have a really odd QB situation. All 3 guys are about equally good, but in different ways. Apparently all 3 were cleared to play today (including Walsh, who was thought to be out for the year initially).

Here you go, bluemax. You know what to do. Something about Chizik's 7.5 million buyout.
