The idea was that our WBB program isnt that good and we are probably still on the list it its just FB+MBB
Nobody outside of the state of NC really gives two shits about basketball until their team is in the final four.

No one, and I mean, no one cares about women's basketball. I don't think Pat Summit even likes the sport.
There is one group that likes women's basketball. Lesbians living in the state of Tennessee. Pat Summitt may or may not be a part of that group and will ultimately determine where she falls.

So you're chest thumping over two 9-4 seasons, each of which ended in bowl-game losses to ACC teams and included regular season losses over the only 2 SEC teams you played? That and whatever you did in basketball?

Ohio State offensive starters on Saturday who were either four- or five-star high-school recruits: 8

Ohio State's national rank in total offense (out of 120 teams): 108th

Ohio State's average yards per play in its 10-7 loss to Michigan State: 2.8

Your school literally adds nothing of value to the SEC. And by that I don't mean that your football and basketball programs are not solid, but rather that you bring nothing to the conference that isn't already there.

Edit: Touting Final Four appearances is saying "we almost got to play in the championship game." Congratulations, that makes you Boise State.

The SEC is all about academics.

They are holding out for Penn, but if they won't accept, West Virginia will do.

Now the question is: What will the Ivy League do if Penn leaves them for the SEC?

Yep, that offense is sad. It's all coaching. Here's the big problem, Tressel created a team and coaching staff that couldnt survive without him. He knew how to call plays to the best out of his team. This offseason we lost both of our offensive playcallers and our OC is Tress's boy from youngstown who is awful, and has been awful since he started. He has no business even being a D1 coach.

Since Tress took over we had one good lineman in the NFL, Mangold, our OC, Bollman, is the Oline coach. Every year we get "stud" oline guys and they all end up being garbage, because we dont have a halfway decent OC. After this season we will clean house on the offensive side and maybe get in someone who is not a complete moron.

Commissioner mre is looking for strong academic schools. Must be in the U.S. News Top 10.

Hey, if all the SEC cares about is market share, and they're willing to take in WVU's level of academics, I'm pretty sure there are some high schools in texas that'll bring a larger market share.

We actually considered inviting Harvard, but figured too many would get confused by the whole Crimson Tide/Crimson thing.

Well, if ecdawg says it, then it must be true.
WVU athletic director Oliver Luck successfully pitched WVU’s national appeal
WVU's national appeal and a bus full of hookers.

It's never to late for a hillfolk incest joke.

yeah, being OL coach + OC doesn't work. That was Addazio's main problem, but I doubt he would have been a good OC even if he focused on it. Out OL completely suffered when he gained his OC responsibilities.

That and can we really have 2 Harvards? I think Yale would make a more natural rival for Ole Miss.

mre said:
Harvard would just have to be known as the Georgia of Boston.

That could work. Or hey Sewanee is pretty high on the Liberal Arts poll right? Maybe add them, Davidson, and Richmond so we can tap into the North Carolina and Virginia TV markets.

We've already got two Bulldogs and two Tigers. The more the merrier.
