Boon doesn't look impressed

Commentary is right. This is one of the most stacked Skullgirls tournaments ever. Even well known and strong players are going to find themselves going home if their play isn't top notch.

Fuck
God DAMN, that game was hella good. SG should have been 3/5 too!
I asked IRC about a week ago and surprisingly most people prefer 2/3. I guess they like to wrap things up faster than everyone else.

Oh shit, Mike Z about to sandbag and pretend he can't freeze the game with a secret button combination

That's weird. Matches go by so quick already, faster than most games except prob Marvel 3, I would have figured people would be all for 3/5. If I was a player I'd definitely prefer 3/5, personally.

Lol, that team is amazing up until the point where Bella dies. Then when she does you realize you have to play point Band and lose.

Taluda's gonna maul this dude.

Man when are they gonna make this whole ps4 switching controllers more intuitive? Every mkx tournament has had these long ass waits between matches

I hope we can see some awesome Beowulf play.

Oh nice, Kenin back up. Hope he makes it out of pools

He's just gotta parry everything perfectly!

...RIP

i missed the umvc3 auction? what were the highlights
Everyone played like shit. There was this one guy who was carrying his whole team with a Shuma because he was a Shuma player.

Some Smash player who has no Marvel experience bought team "Blue" which had Vergil on it for a very high price and got bodied first round by constant snap backs.

Someone bought team swords for a very high price thinking he would get characters like Dante/Strider/Vergil but instead he got Trish/Taskmater/Arthur.

Kinderparty won because he was able to get Zero and Spencer on a team and he could already play Spencer. Second place was some guy with Wolverin/X23/Phoenix but he only knew how to play Wolverine so the other characters didn't do anything.

There was a Cap player who played really well though.

And Viscant was talking mad smack during the entire auction tournament.

I don't know either. Maybe they know they don't have the luxury of asking for 3/5 like minions or maybe they know they'd get more players on stream with a 2/3 setup.

It is only a problem if your Big Band isn't good. He has anti airs, a DP with invul frames, armored 75% rush punches and insane damage after a single taunt thanks to knockdown and duo teams.
