I just noticed it a few days ago. I wonder if there's gonna be some surprise anoucement about it beng a launch game at Gamescom.

That´s a ridiculous thing to say. Insomniac is entitled to keep their IP. Even so more than From giving their history with Sony. I am glad that Insomniac is keeping its IP with MS and every other publishers.

Possibly.

Another possibility I thought of is that PS4 and Xbone are both going to be sold out at launch. That will leave a lot of gamers having to wait for restocks throughout the following weeks. Many of those gamers won't be willing to wait to get their COD on, and will settle for buying it for their current gen systems. The MS/Gamestop deal would give gamers incentive to get the 360 version and then trade-up when they're able to acquire an Xbone. Just thinking of additional scenarios.

It's acceptable for them because at the end of the day, they don't care. Most of them are going to forget about this in a week anyway. In the grand scheme of things I don't think anyone here or there honestly cares about a guy who leaks information on the internet. Especially when they're are other more pressing things to focus on like school and family and all that stuff.

Still don't get truthfact number 1. Why would MS not stream because of unfinished sdks yet have 100 consoles at Gamescom available to press and the public. You'd think it'd be easier to fake no performance issues in a conference than with hand on. Anyone got any ideas on this?

I'm kinda curious as to how the developers/producers who have made deals with MS in regards to CoD,BF4,FIFA,TItanfall,Witcher 3 etc. feel about this whole situation.

I mean sure they get their pay check regardless but they must still be pissed at the way their "partner" is dealing with things as it doesn't portray them in a good light.

Not surprised. We're talking about people who thought that a RAM upgrade was going to happen because MS was going to switch to the developer's kit motherboard or something. Also, the supposed source of Digital Foundry's infamous PS4 RAM allocation article (i.e. pure BS).

I love how they say ME2 was wrong. Before then, it was a rumor and he basically confirmed it was a real thing. Before then I doubted the game existed. I didnt see ME2 coming out and he basically blew my mind.

And who wants to show a console thats been hit with 15 to 20% performance ?
It would be the nail.

Edit: maybe its not consoles running but PC again with a gtx680 ?

I think it's more they don't want to show the newest build that has more of the hooks implemented. They will have something around 100 kits running playable demos, so those are all probably running on an earlier version of the XDK.

To be honest, Reiko was bringing things that seemed to be from B3D. He said he had sources that spoke lies if I remember right. He even started that thread on a double APU for the console!

I have to go back to his posts, but yeah, he was a cool guy nonetheless.

The difference being that every single time I've seen DRM compared to rape, the user is almost immediately banned. GAF actually moderates the community, Reddit does a much worse job, since you can't be banned from the site.

Most media outlets probably look at every CBoaT comment as thoroughly as we do. They have to work on verifying with their own sources though because you would look like an idiot if you tried to source a leak from a CBoaT post. That's the beauty in the way he posts his leaks.
