Absolutely pathetic part deux
Wow, I can't believe Scalped is already around #46. I stopped going weekly to buy books around when the 1st issue of that came out. Time flies.

Let's see....ah man, Dwayne. :(

As far as comics tons of fun stuff but looking forward most to Cornell's Luthor Comics and HOLYFUCK Ka-Zar in Hulks!

Yeah, going to double(triple?) dip again for the awe-inspiring Seven Soldiers HC. It's a must read again and again.

I felt the same way at first but Grant brought me along. Honestly, Scott wouldn't have worked in the story.

Marvel is so stupid to end FF now. November is the 50th anniversary of the book, but I don't think Quesada knows that.

There's a good chance Torch will be back and we'll see Fantastic Four as the book's title by November. IMO.

I actually hope the don't go with that. I don't mind the revival of johnny, but the future foundation sounds like such an awesome idea. Let johnny come back with enhanced flame abilities and recreate the new invaders with the non used characters like the blue marvel or something

As I see it there are three possible scenarios:

1) as others have said, the book will remain titled "Future Foundation" for about a year, then Johnny comes back and it becomes "Fantastic Four" again for its 600th issue. Five-eighty-eight plus twelve equals six hundred, after all. (Odds: likely)

2) "Future Foundation" becomes successful enough that Marvel makes the bold choice of having that series continue as titled instead of bringing back "Fantastic Four", even once Johnny makes his eventual return. (Odds: not likely)

3) in keeping with Marvel's current business model regarding franchise expansion, "Fantastic Four" will resume once Johnny comes back, but will run alongside "Future Foundation" which becomes the second regular series in the F4 franchise. A third possible series starring Johnny Storm may also result. (Odds: highly likely)

Three for me this week.
Action Comics #898: I'm loving the Lex Luthor story and it's great to see him interact with characters from all over the DC Universe. I liked him and Larfleeze in Blackest Night, so this week should be cool.

Detective Comics #874: This is the wrap up from the Gordon back-up feature, so no Jock artwork but Snyder knows his Batman characters. It's a shame it wasn't tied into the Detective Comics issues because they went out of their way to bridge the two stories together.

Justice Society of America #48: I thought I heard someone say JSA was one of the DC books cancelled, but it was JSA All Stars, not JSA. That's good because I just started reading this. I like the characters on this team and the two villains they are going up against. Dr. Chaos is crazy! I also am surprised how mature the story is here.
The government orders Alan and Jay to kill a Nazi baby, Flash wants to, Alan stops him and the baby comes back years later, paralyzes Alan and levels a city!

Morning Glories, Skull Kicker, Avengers, and Secret Avengers.

I've got such a backlog of books to read, due to reading ASOIAF.

Am I the only one that got a creepy vibe from Max Lord's interactions with his mom? Doesn't help that they draw her pretty much as the same age as Max.

Hail, peons, for I have come as ambassador from the great and bountiful Blueberry Butt Explosion
God I love Max Lord. Well, I hate him, but I love hating him. Max Lord <3

If you're not reading Generation Lost, you are missing out. It's fucking amazing.

This is terrible news. First Wave was awesome.

Are literally any of them any good anymore?

It's not in his list, but Remender's Uncanny X-Force is fucking AMAZING.

I don't know if I can keep reading Uncanny X-men, though. Fraction's meandering pacing combined with Land's barf-worthy art is enough for me to drop it entirely.

So Amazing Spider-Man guys, so so awesome. I loved how the first half was completely silent. Slott is just killing it on that book, absolutely killing it.

Big Time wasn't as good as the end of the Brand New Day/Grim Hunt stuff but I still thought it was a good read. Take away Quesada's OMIT crap and I think ASM has been one of the most consistent books for the past year or so.

OMIT was still good for Rivera's stunning art.

Bought Fantastic Four #587 reprint instead of 588 hahahaha....... :(

Lol, i don't know why they polybagged 587 since the cover had no spoilers and the internet found out like a week before who dies

Picked up UC Doom 3 and UC Spidey 154. I'm so far behind on my comics though, think I still haven't finished spidy 152, Thor, or any of the Dooms. I guess I'll catch up eventually not like they take too long to read.

I didn't. I got it in the morning and read it clean.

I appreciated the bagging. Not everyone has the patience of a waterbug.

That's precisely what I did. I went into X-withdrawal for a few weeks, but Remender's X-Force is now all the X I need.

All this love for Amazing Spider-Man is making me consider picking it up. I've been enjoying UCSM, but still I miss 616 Spidey. I was hoping to just read the series digitally, but Marvel has this annoying habit of not actually putting up sequential issues of ASM, so you have to jump back and forth in the story, wondering what issue they'll put up next. Solid business plan right there.

Other than the Spideys, looks like Detective and maybe the new Brian Wood book.

Power Girl was missing from my LCS's shipment. Haven't really looked at any of them yet.
Personally, I was let down by Action Comics this month. I dunno if was just the bad art on Larfleeze that I couldn't get past or what, but it just didn't click with me like it normally does.

Just Detective and All-Star Superman for me this week.

I'm also still deciding on whether I want to drop Tony Daniel's Batman. The stories and art are fine but his own characters suck (Catgirl and Enigma). The fact that its going to be wrapped up in a crossover in April doesn't help.

Drop it, and go get all of Knight & Squire. You can thank me later.
