All in all, not a bad week. And FINALLY, hallelujah, my copy of GTO vol. 20 will arrive on Wednesday. It turns out the damn comic shop never even bothered to order a copy; they requested vol. 19 and vols. 21+ for me like always, but for some reason they skipped over vol. 20 when placing orders. Weird.


BTW, if you didn't ask your retailer for one of these...

GTO 20 is a much faster read than the other volumes imo, but it's starting to set up the last leg of the series. I wish there were more than 25 volumes.

BTW, about X-23... I'm hearing that the whole purpose of her being introduced in UXM is so that she can "fill in" for Wolverine from time to time on the team's permanent roster. Any truth to this? I guess it makes sense, what with Logan being by far the most overexposed character in the Marvel Universe today.

First time I've heard this theory. And for the record, I hope not. X-23 is a terrible character.

That darn Jean... Logan made a pass at her again, and she decided to teach him a lesson by putting his mind into the body of "the person he'd least like to be." And I guess that turned out to be his "pal" Spider-Man. Funny stuff all around, like Peter calling the X-Men from jail to bail him out and getting tasered by the cops, and Logan refusing to wear the costume and trying to web-swing, and him busting Peter out of jail in broad daylight.

Best joke came at the end, though... seems Logan got further with MJ than Peter has.

Oh, and WTF is this crap in Spectacular Spider-Man?!? Was that whole story just
