Read the first three issue arc of Mother Panic. I don't think I was quite prepared for how dark it was going to go, that's some rough stuff. Since they initially hold back that stuff in issue 1, I thought the book was maybe going to be a bit too angsty/try hard but once you have that background and context, the whole thing takes on a really different tone. Definitely interested what Houser has to say with that. It's dark stuff, dark enough I think it's only worth exploring if the team can really do it justice and say something meaningful but I am definitely engaged and I guess this is what Gotham would be like if you take the cuffs off on the content.
