Buy better statues.
Buying statues is hard. All the ones i want aren't out for awhile and i want one now O_____O. And from Amazon....so i can return a bad paint job. The Bleez statue looks great but also a little too creepy. Batwoman Bombshell i still have pre-ordered through dcbs and that isn't coming out until the end of September....so far away. Also if it has bad paint i might be hosed. After Batwoman i am thinking about the Artfx Emma Frost and then a depressingly long wait until the animated series Zatanna figure comes out.
Man how do you guys do the monthly wait between issues? I'm used to reading TPB's but I have recently subscribed to a bunch of books. Obviously I blew through all of them lol, and now I'm itching for the next issues! It's taking a lot of self control to not just go to comixology and buy more and more
If you're gonna buy the Emma Frost, DCBS has her up for $42. Better grab her before they update next week.
Hmm yeah I suppose that works. I was gonna dive into my backlog for now to save some money. Gotta finish up Uncanny Xforce, Bendis Daredevil, and Y the Last Man.You keep buying more books until you have a nice chunk of books that come out once a week so the wait doesn't feel that long.
What are you buying?
If you just want stuff to read, there's always MU. Not perfect and obviously limited to Marvel, but there's a lot on there and it's a solid deal.Man how do you guys do the monthly wait between issues? You're right I do have a subscription to MU so i could read a bunch of older stuff I missed out onIf you just want stuff to read, there's always MU. Not perfect and obviously limited to Marvel, but there's a lot on there and it's a solid deal.
Tyler Kirhams art in the Deathstroke Annual is jaw-dropping.
So I guess that's the end of Noto on Black Widow then
Oh right, before I forget: Captain America's secret identity is a central plot point here, and... I totally thought Cap was the type who was completely out in the open about who was under the mask. Huh. Is it still a secret nowadays?
You guys were super helpful the last time I asked for help and I need some help once again.
Where do I start with Carol Danvers? I'm having trouble figuring out what to read. Any help is much appreciated.
Assuming they have an ongoing Black Widow comic after Secret Wars, I am curious who they will put on it. While I really liked the current run, I wouldn't mind if the next one was lighter in tone. Similar to what Waid did for Daredevil, which was a nice break from past (and likely future) runs.
This is funny because the rumor floating around has Waid as the writer.

You know this Guardians Team Up issue would have been a lot better if it didn't have groot looking like his stupid-post-black-vortex self.
Hey everyone new comic book reader here. So far I've just been reading on Marvel Unlimited but I want to get into some DC stuff and I want to start reading physical books. I decided to buy Batwoman Vol 1-4 in SC. I saw that Volume 1 and 4's HC editions have 16 more pages. Can someone tell me why that is? Is it just extra content like art?
Finished the first volume of Simone's Red Sonja. How great is that book, eh?
2nd arc is better than the first, imo. So you're in for a treat if you enjoyed the first and continue on. Probably the best of the three she did. I went in blind to the series and enjoyed my time with it.
No, he went public after 9/11.
I really disliked the storys ive read that are set right after 9/11... I see what Marvel was trying to do and maybe it was a good idea from an american perspective, but for me these books are way to patriotic and I always had the feeling that they tried to hard...
You answered your own question here. You're not the intended audience for the book. Also, claiming that something is too patriotic after 3000 people lost their lives and a nation (including fans) were trying to cope is a bit insensitive and selfish.
A "We against Them" story doent help even in this situation.
9/11 stories too patriotic. Southern Bastards too southern.
Why will no one make comics for GAMEPROFF, god dammit?
Yeah but he is doing fucking Chewbacca for Marvel now. Everyone wins. I mean look at it, it's perfect:So I guess that's the end of Noto on Black Widow then.
We should have appreciated him more
