Pete Carroll Owns Me
how do we feel about jim cheung?
besides his faces being very similar, I like him alot.
Looks good to me. But why does that Ironman in the first pic have a face? That's kind of creepy.

Its Iron Lad/ Nathanial Richards, Its not Iron ManLooks good to me. But why does that Ironman in the first pic have a face? That's kind of creepy.
Amanda Conner. I could easily list a dozen others but her art has always been right up my alley. It's so fun and bouncing with personality. If you could pick only one favorite artist who would it be? I have been thinking for a while and I am fairly sure mine is Terry Moore. He floors me everytime I am looking at his books. His art is scarily consistent too.
Steel Ball Run was beautiful at points. Araki's one of my favorite mangakas.

JHW3 does the best layouts though:
It's sad that she doesn't do interiors anymore.
See, that is how you insult a writer.
Like I was going to do this post in Bendis speak but it hurt my eyes too much to do that.

This is...?
Greg is the best artist working on a cape book.
Rafa please contain your excitement:
One of the puppies didn't make it through the night. Apparently these things happen.
Started Rat Queens vol 1 tpb and it's quite enjoyable. I thought the premise was similar to Skullkickers but banter between the queens is better than the kickers duo had, plotting is still to be determined after two issues.
I dont know if this was posted before but here is a good look at Rucka's and Scott's upcoming Black Magick
The art looks great but I wish it either had more stark whites or was colored. The inkwash look is gorgeous but its not giving me enough contrast between figures/backgrounds.
Its a creator-owned series created at a time when Joe Mad was one of the biggest names in comics.
Right now I'm reading and watching Parasyte: The Maxim, and it's really freaking awesome.
This is...?
A very good artist but I dont think I've ever seen a page of his that would make me consider him a top 10 artist even in cape books, much less the best overall.
I wanna see this list you speak of.

Just noticed that Marvel Previews book on Comixology. X-Men comics. who'd have thunk it?
Bachalo is actually probably my favorite these days, but im too nostalgic for Joe Mad
X-Men has too big a fanbase to just ignore it. But you see, by putting Greg Land on Uncanny, they're beginning the process of weaning people off of X-Men. Soon, all X-books will be written and drawn by Greg Land.
Nice save. Otherwise I'm afraid you'd have to go on the list.
If X-fans could survive Land on Uncanny years ago, they can do it again!

Why's Emma (if that's Emma. Looks weird) using a punisher vest there?

true story. That Uncanny land cover they showed for the october book...is completely fine. In fact, its even good. Of course its just a cover, but im not panicking just yet

Bachalo is one of those dudes that need to learn how to draw faces and screen direction.
I don't really have a favorite artist yet. It used to be Alvin Lee/UDON but I have no idea what he/they have been doing for the last decade.
Man, I wished we had gotten a Magik book

Slapping together artbooks with terrible bindings.
So...
The Comic-GAF Official Super Artist is...
J.H.Williams III on Layouts
Joe Made on Pencils
???? on Inks
FCO on Colours....
(I say that because the colours in Zero Year were Messi-tier)
That's unfortunate. I wish he were doing the new Deadpool.
I'm joking. They do a lot of artbooks, and the bindings are fine on some. They put out a really nice hardcover Dark Souls artbook a while back, and have a Dark Souls II book in production now.
or sleeping posture
Errrr... That's Anka and it's funny.

Having only read the first three trades of Sandman from the library, I started Sandman Overture today and didn't think too much of issue #1 outside of the art. These books have always felt too dreamy.
Yep, that looks about right to me
