I haven't read any Marvel and DC stuff in ages. Most of the time I feel so overwhelmed I don't even know where to start.
I did pick up that massive Wonder Woman A celebration of 75 years collection, and I'm subscribed to Walking Dead, Invincible, Jem, and a few others, but there's so much to read, so little time. Although, and this is a shameless segue, now that I've finally wrapped up my comic, I have more free time (mainly catching up on sleep!). The graphic novel proof should be arriving tomorrow, and it's on track for it's August 30th release. It feels so, so good to finally be done with it. I've been working on this book, from concept to execution, since 2013. I'm super proud. 150 pages, written and illustrated by yours truly! I may not work for Marvel or DC, but I can knock having a graphic novel published off of my bucket list. A 24 year dream realized, but hey, better late than never.
Also, I finished reading Invincible #138, and O_O
I'm bummed the series is ending in a way, but I'm also super glad that it will have a conclusion. 144 issues is insanely respectable, especially to keep to the same team as long as they have. Cory Walker had a great run, but Ryan Ottley has been killing it, and I'm always blown away by how his work has progressed over the years. I'm excited to see what his next project is going to be.
EDIT: Top of the page?! Really?!
