Definitely Animalia. It's drawn slightly more cartoony than the rest of the art, like the Cthulu earlier in the issue

I kinda wanna make a thread about Calexit.
Have you all listed your top favorite series (plural) of all time recently? To make it easier, you don't have to worry about order. Just list 5-10 of your favorites.
Let's go!
LaunchpadMcQ, what comes after Imperium in the Harbinger saga?
Generation Zero, then Harbinger Renegade.
I was thinking the jump from Imperium to Renegade seemed too big. I'm interested to see what Generation Zero have been up too. Still got 2 volumes of Imperium to read first though.
Also people who say you can jump in and read Imperium without reading Harbinger are insane.
So I finally finished the Henrietta Hunter (or the non-Princess Diana) arc in X-Statix. This wasn't just a slump in the run, it was just bad. Ham fisted and boring at the same time. And that includes the next Myles "depowering" issue. I don't know if I've ever soured on a series I liked this quickly. There seems to be an interesting looking X-Statix vs Avengers arc coming up and hopefully it finishes reasonably strongly like frye mentioned.
It can only go well
To your last point, I think it's totally possible to read Imperium without reading Harbinger, but you really get a tremendous amount of context. Taking Imperium on its own, though, it doesn't rely too much on the Renegades side of things and that's why I'd recommend Imperium as its own thing if someone is pressed for money/time. Still, people should read them both because Dysart is amazing!
Fuck this Black Panther EW cover shoot is gonna make me buy more of the new Black Panther issues on Comixology. I can't wait for Marvel Unlimited on this one.

I really don't know. You need so much of that context. It's like my friend, he's seen the new Spider-man and is wanting to read some comics. No surprise there. People suggested Superior Spider-man. It might be good or even great, I haven't read it so I can't comment, but for someone who doesn't read comics I think it's a bad choice. You need to understand that Peter is actually Doc Ock, how that happened and why that happened. I've found often suggesting the "best" comics is the worst path to take.
I really don't disagree with you. Personally, I am the guy who wants to read everything and soak all that in, but I understand that other people don't necessarily want to do all that reading or just don't have an interest. I think Imperium gives the reader enough to go off of, even if it's not the best way to read it.
I just can't get over how dense The Casting feels. I'm just going through BC articles and seeing stuff I didn't really get at all. Gonna take a few rereads.
1. The Walking Dead #169
2. Batman #26
3. The Wicked + The Divine #29
4. Injustice 2 #13
5. Star Wars #33
6. Superman #26
7. Justice League #24
8. Nightwing #24
9. Jupiter's Legacy Vol. 2 #5
10. Rat Queens #4
So you'd say you liked it?
Blackbolt looks like he has problems with his faceI'm not sure about the show but the art looks good.
You should do that anyway.
We'll agree to disagree

Just got home. I rode my bike from my old place 'cause I left it there last week when I moved. 40km night ride from the opposite side of Tokyo!! It was fun!
Now I get to relax and read new Kill or be Killed and Dark Days! Wooo!
Weeeeeee!That's too much.
Spider-Men 2 #1 spoilers:
Weeeeeee!
I've done way more before in one day, and that was in the desert (9 day biking trip in high school). Tokyo is pretty easy compared to where I grew up riding my bike (in the mountains).
Seems you figured it out.

That's awesome. I can't rollerblade, but that sounds super fun!I've never ridden a bike that far before but I have rollerbladed about half that distance a bunch of times. That was a pretty good work out.
I also handed in Aphra 14 on monday, and did some real work on the second half of year 2, which should take us up to issue 25. Busssssy.
It's been a week for starting new things, really. After finishing Aphra 14, I started work on the first draft of the first issue of Spangly New Thing. After that, I start work on another new project, which I'll call Ooh! Nice One! Thing, which should be announced soon. These periods are always exciting, and I've got months of this to come.
Oh and David is redesigning Otto in Ludocrats, which is looking delightful. I'll have to show you some soon.
Weeeeeee!

For Green Lantern, the story sees Hal Jordan re-envisioned as an astronaut who seeks the thrill of discovery, yet finds himself in an unfulfilling job prospecting asteroids for Ferris Galactic. His fortunes change when he finds a powerful green ring and learns that it came from the Green Lantern Corps, a group that was long ago murdered by killing machines called Manhunters. This sets him on a mission to reinstate the Corps, a nearly impossible task for the fearless Jordan.
God dammit, was just about to post it!Green Lantern: Earth One book coming

Went to my LCS to get the Casting. 2 things.
1. Comics are expensive. £4.75 is too much.
2. The guy behind the counter hasn't read Court of Owls. I just figured everyone had read that!
