I read several today, most notably Saga #28 and #29. Saga is still in my " mostly enjoying reading it monthly and will not drop" tier, but stumbling upon some quotes from #1's soliciation as Star Wars meets Game of Thrones, that's like Bungie saying they wanted Destiny's story to rival LOTOR. At best Saga is a shock value adventure book with a weak story.

Good lord there were a lot of comic Gaf posts today.
Perusing the marvel preview trickle most of this seems on the surface random, a bit haphazard, not new reader friendly and highlights the lack of their top talent. I thought DCs pool was dry but Marvels seems potentially worse. Like how many alternate versions of characters can you have roaming around in one planet. And people say DC is hard to get into?
I'm sure it'll boiled down to 10 good books or so like it always does. But so many of these books feel like they have 6-12 issues in them before they fade away. I never would have thought Dcs recent post convergence would be the stronger of these revamps but so far that seems to be the case.
Oh and the Bendis on guardians is just the worst. I'm sure he's stolen kitty like he's done before. He's never leaving this book is he?
