Component Video Selector?

Anyone know of any good and affordable component video selector? I've got a 30" widescreen LCD TV but it only has one component input :/ I know there's the Pelican one with the network hub but I was wondering if there were any other's perhaps more basic (and cheeper)?

There's also the JVC JX S111, which runs about $80 at B&H Photo online and will work for HDTV. Only three-way component switching though.

Will the Pelican one be ok if you're only using it for 480P?

I'd like to know this as well. I was hoping there's be a cheaper solution since the pelican has inputs for everything under the sun and I just need the component (no audio/network/svideo). From the other thread it looks like the audio authority is the one for high end but it ain't cheap.

Well the Audio Authority one rocks because it also does audio conversion - if you have only 1 coax input on your receiver for digital audio but your game systems all use optical, then the Audio Authority unit will let you run a single coax out and convert the input signal from your consoles. Also, you can find it for $159 or less (depends on if it goes on sale) at www.digitalconnection.com

Actually, Pelican just brought out a cheaper component switcher that fashoned after their old s-video switchbox-it doesn't have optical nor network, but it was like $40 new or something like that. I saw it in a store last week, but I can't remember where exactly-may have been Fry's or something like that.

I bought the Pelican one for $150cdn. Cheap compared to the Zektor boxes which are $400cdn.

The Pelican also has 8 inputs on it. 480p looks great with no loss that I can tell. I don't know about 720p or higher though as I don't have anything to test it out with.

I've read that the Pelican switch can have pretty obvious video artifacting above 480P, but I think if you're going to be using it strictly with 480P, it should be a good economical solution. It sort of sucks that the network ports themselves aren't actually connected to a switch but are manually selected with whichever button you press.
