Ok. My mouse has been acting up really bad lately. Last night it started hanging up for like 2-3 seconds at a time which has never happened before. Then before I went to sleep it just totally locked up, This is just the mouse though. The keyboard and everything is still fine and working. Today I booted up my PC and it has been fine until now. The mouse just locked up again. Its an optical mouse but i dont know the make or model of it. Any ideas what could be causing this? My only idea is that it could be heat related cause its really fuckin hot in my room, but everything else works fine. Any ideas?
