since i've been too busy to actually make any shows in the last month, here are some that i've missed!

blood brothers - homework
trail of dead - interview (which i totally failed. THANKS NOT SLEEPING!)
melt banana - overlapped with flight out for same interview GREAT!
of montreal/tilly and the wall - homework (tonight! thanks having to turn in assignments late because i was up for 80 hours prepping to demo a project for another class!)

ok off to get more coffee soy milk and work!

Missed Bright Eyes/The Faint even though I had a ticket, 'cos I was fucking sick. Went to Modest Mouse on Wednesday but couldn't enjoy the show 'cos I had to sit in the back with a cast on my foot and I couldn't see a goddamned thing. Missing Blood Brothers/The Plot... on Friday 'cos of the same foot injury. Probably missing Aesop Rock/Mr. Lif in order to go see Jamie & Rjd2.

Only show in the future I'm for sure seeing and will for sure enjoy? The Motherfucking Wrens July 16.

Funny enough just yesterday my friend who's a ticket scalper offered me free tickets to the Pixies, but I had a dinner to go to, and I'm not much of a fan anyway, so eh.

I haven't been to a concert since Cat Power four years ago and Pavement's last tour about the same time but I used to go to about a show a week back when I was in high school, just less motivated now, and I live in NY and LA so I really have no reason other than that.

Funny you should start a topic like this, I drove into San Francisco to see my teacher perform and I got completely lost. The directions I printed out off of Yahoo were no help at all. 3 hours of driving, completely wasted.

I missed The Two Koreas yesterday due to laziness.

Missed seeing Martha Wainwright a few months ago. I made it to the venue but only stayed for Amy Millan since I was sick. Plus I was standing next to a drunken Andrew Whiteman/Apostle of Hustle and he was giving off weird vibes.

To this day I'm still kicking myself for not going to the cd release party for 'You Forgot it in People'.

Missed 2004 Lollapalooza because the whole thing got cancelled (rest in peace sweet prince, your dream will live on)
Radiohead because it was out of state and the week school started.
Bonnie Prince Billy because you had to be a student at the college.

Although I'm getting to go to Intonation, so that should make up for some of the more recent ones.
