I walked by the PSP kiosk at my local Best Buy yesterday. Around the same time, I witnessed tumbleweeds roll by.

True story.

Wouldn't doubt it. Just because it's not rushing off store shelves doesn't mean it's not the greatest piece of hardware EVER though.

Are you and Drinky Crow actually Nintendo fans deep down, but don't want to admit it? Every single of you and his posts contain "Nintendo this, Nintendo that, Gamecube this, Gamecube that..........". It's hard to believe the things you're supposed to hate are always at the back of your mind. So I guess being a Nintendo troll are your and his gimmicks AM I RIGHT LOL?

I'm jealous too, seeing how you and he can fit Nintendo into every single post.

Classic case of denial, my friend. A la American Beauty. They're secretly Nintendo lovers, but are too ashamed to admit it to society and themselves, so their emotions manifest as hatred and prejudice! ;)

Anyway, was just curious, is the PSP screen the same kind of technology on my Sony T1 (or maybe the Clearbright (tm) T3) digicam? Because the screen on that thing is the envy of all my LCD tech (namely, my DS and GBA).

Drinky Crow, so that source is pretty reliable talking about the Basic Pack? Sweet, I'm definitely waiting until then to buy a PSP then.

Yesterday I witnessed for the first time a PSP. Then I bought Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

oh c'mon, you don't have to like the PSP but there's no reason to blame it for you buying a bad game.

What the hell are you using? I've still never witnessed a ghost free LCD. Then again, the lowest response time I've seen on an LCD is 12ms. There was still ghosting...

PSP's response time isn't that bad, though. I mean, it's MUCH faster than every laptop we buy at work, for instance (not that those laptops are particularly high-end).

That's the thing, I'm not even that picky when it comes to this. I'm not bothered by any ghosting I may see on my 16ms LCD, so the response time must be really shitty on the PSP if it bothers me. Is the response time listed in any spec sheets?

No, seriously. I have my fair share of complaints about the PSP (you of all people know how skeptical I can be), but the screen? I mean, christ, it's like glowing gold. GLOWING GOLD.

Shit, I think you might've just solved the mystery of what's inside Marcellus Wallace's briefcase.

The way fingerprints show up on the PSP makes me sick. Is there some sort case I can put it in?

Seriously. I already wiped down my PSP like 12 times. By contrast, I probably only gave my DS a "cleaning" twice in all the time I've had it.

I'm only going to play when there's a fan around, in an effort to prevent this thing from being soiled by sweaty hands.

Maybe I should buy a pair of velvet gloves to handle it.

The PSP value pack should come with two white Sony branded love gloves. As well as a 10% off coupon on the purchase of your next in-home clean room.

While they're at it, they could throw in the Mcaulay Culkin issue of playJackson...
:D

I keed, I keed.

I'm really digging on my PSP so far, but yeah, whoever came up with the idea that having a reflective face was good for anything other than photoshoots needs to be shot. Not only does it get way too smudged up way too fast, but in diffused lighting situations where all LCDs admittedly suck it's even worse because now you can see yourself making "videogame face" while you play. It's damn distracting.

Eh, maybe I'll write more about it later.

Phantom Dust on the PSP with online play sure would be nice...
