I could really go for some good class-based multiplayer. Have there been any good ones on Live recently? Snowblind is the only one that comes to mind.

Not only does it make me want to play the game even less, the graphics in that shot look shitty.

Makes me want to take a paint scraper to the 360 degrees of eyecrust around each eye.

360... hmm.. easter egg to say that Conker delayed to X360! Going gold was just a red herring!
 
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm pretty excited about this, the last "Great" Xbox release! I never played the original, so that adds to it even more.
 
I watched Xboxyde's video preview. The game doesn't seem as funny as it was to me when I played the N64 version. :/ Perhaps my sense of humor matured? :p

I am going to be buying it anyway for the eye candy. :D
 
Don't worry! This is RARE, so have faith that something will either go wrong during the manufacturing process to cause a delay, a major last minute bug will be discovered, or both! :D

When is the game supposed to be released, anyway? July?

I understand that most of us here are fanboys but for Godsakes stop criticizing each and every game. Good God play the fucken game first before running thir Mouth :lol. Take off the fanboy googles at least once day, you might see things more clearly. As for conker, its a buy for me. There are not that many games that i can truly enjoy when playing
 
vangace, that's not how it works, man. You see, especially in Rare (or most XBOX-related) threads, you have to have about 60 parts hate, trolling, and general negativity to 40 parts positivity and happiness. It's just the way it works. After a while, you tend to see past it. :)

the fur looks identical to what they did in SFA on the GCN. it looks kind of weird pulled back a bit, but closer up it actually looks kind of neat.

Looks good,I'm there once its out. I own the N64 version but never took the time to play it years back. Glad I passed that up,now I'll be playing the better version.

Now that I actually find amusing. But I assume that's a "port moment," where several things are changed early on to try to make you think that the whole game will be like that. Super Mario Advance was a shining example: W1-1 very different in many respects (new intro sequence, bouncy freaky platform, giant veg and weapons), then, by a few levels in, it's all looking like a copy and paste. Once in a while they change what's in the ground to give "variety," and there was that useless Ro-Birdo mini-boss in one single level... But most of the changes are at the earliest parts of the game.

All well, I'll still buy it anyway. Conker was a great game, even if half of the gags had been ruined for me by IGN posting a new movie up every six minutes (and myself being too dumb to not watch them back then).

I'd like to hear more about the online gameplay.
 
It looks amazing but I can't help but think that Conker is a game for nobody. Its cute for kids but they can't play it because of the violence and subject matter and it is too goofy for adults who would rather play something more mature.

Watch it sell 500k ;) I'm stoked about it so are a lot of other people here. You're forgeting the fun part, which is what's going to sell it to me. It kind of reminds me of Timesplitters which put you in different worlds...I thought that was great.
 
After those two screens, my interest is at an all time low...unless it has great multiplayer, I'll pass. I still have the 64 version and it wasn't all that hot. Yeah, I know I'm in the minority. :P
 
the funny thing is i actually enjoyed the Conker demo on Jade Empire more than Jade Empire itself (which i feel is pretty crappy)


i will buy conker. for all the shit rare gets, when they actually RELEASE games, they're usually above average. then again i guess their main criticism is that they don't actually release stuff often :/

Well, it's been a long, long time since Rare released a must-have game. The last one...well, shit, I can't think of a must-have N64 Rare game. Someone help me out?

Ghoulies and Star Fox Adventure don't cut it.

i don't think either SFA or Ghoulies were must-haves, but i do think both were decent games. the way people talk about rare you'd think they were acclaim.

I can't wait for Conker. I'm still disappointed the jokes and parodies weren't dramatically updated to be more relevant, but playing Conker with the most awesome paint job of all time is just going to be awesome.

A lot of people have said this is the best looking game this generation. Go to xboxyde.com and download the videos, it just looks AMAZING. Don't base your judgement on two shitty captures from gamespot. I guess some people are too sensitive to handle this game :lol

btw there's a difference between a remake and a port.
