What is it with black borders appearing on some of the DC captures?

On ps4 there is a screen area setting in the system menu that some games use (like drive club) while other games have their screen settings

If people don't set this up you get those black borders

If I'm correct you can disable the black bars in the PC version.

A shame Bayonetta doesn't have a photo mode that cleans up some jaggies. Looks gorgeous in motion full of action, but in screenshots...ouch. That could be said about most Wii U titles.

This game is such a mixed bag in terms of screenshots lol. Some aspects look great while others look pretty bad.

Also I'm convinced that nib95 has a more powerful PS4 than I do.

I wouldn't say it ever looks outright bad, not in motion anyway. Just sometimes because of the aliasing, it looks less than spectacular. But most of the time it looks ridiculously good, especially if you have your set calibrated properly. I mean, the game looks a lot crisper in real life than any of these screenshots actually show, due to the compression.

On a side note, how are you exporting your images? They're coming out slightly softer than mine!

You can adjust it from PS4 settings but still I don't know why the black border is there, other games don't have one and Driveclub runs at 1080p.
