Fantastic shot! Did that part last night, amazing how many balloons are on screen.

How did you do such a tall shot?

Thanks! Use the d-pad to turn the camera, mind you that the camera controls then become sideways on the analog stick, but it's cool to get some shots at that angle for a change!

The lack of anisotropic filtering in DriveClub is absurd for a game that involves staring at long, flat stretches of texture. It muddies up an otherwise incredible image and undoes all that hard work they put into photorealism.

Why are they even having problems with it...? I was using 16AF on PC games probably 5 years ago at least.

I agree. AF would probably improve things a lot more than additional AA. One can only hope they find a way to increase it.

Wii U browser has been hard-locking the system a lot recently when I use abload.de to post screens. I'm guessing it's the ads. Only managed to up this one so far.

FH2 looks amazing, i only own a ps4 but it amazes me how clean is the image on that game, DC on the other hand looks so soft, i hate the filter being used on it

Blowing those up to 1080p is doing that game no favors, haha!
Straight capture, I know the game is rendered at 720p. But seeing as folks wanted to see how games looked like when they're actually playing I figured why not capture at the resolution almost everyone will be playing on.
does the game actually look that bad on a 1080 display?
It's looks a lot better in motion.

Shot is vanilla with no alterations/changes from default.

i think he's only in cutscenes and those special event races, but this dude's character model looks like it just walked out of Ryse or something. pretty well done, i think

This battle is even more epic than I imagined, now that I'm playing it for myself. The music, the atmosphere, the animation, the ridiculous amount of effects, the fluidity...the release date can't come soon enough!
 
Does it actually look different than the PC version did when it came out? I don't really see a difference there.
They said they've added things like volumetric fog and weather effects, more pedestrians and traffic on the roads too. I never played the PC version so I'm excited to play it looking that good on my TV.
