How do you get those shots like that in NFSMWU? Geeze!

Just cruise about slowly in first person, stop at a good spot. Then Def gave me a tip to go to gamepad mode and snap the pic of the TV minus the HUD. Good advice, you can actually play the whole game like this hudless.

It's no good capturing shots whilst driving at speed because the game has a blur effect to simulate speed better.

Didn't notice this in my pic till paying attention, the environment is accurately reflected on the road surface. All the shadows sync up too. Digital Foundry said that was one of the things the U version had up on the 360/PS3 versions.

Gosh damn, gamingeek! Those are easily the best user screen-grabs of NFS:MWU that I've ever seen, period.

The little console that could! It's too bad most devs consider it too weak, and therefore don't take advantage of its unique architecture and treat it as the capable machine that it is. God bless Criterion! I'm expecting Fast Racing Neo, from Shin'en, and Project Cars(with one of the NFS:MWU coders on board) to be another good example of what Wii U is capable of.

Little difference in the compressed 720p shots. Remember the PS4 version is native 1080p with AA at 60fps so will look much more impressive in person. But yeah, looks like Ubi did a great job with the Wii U port!

If you saw it in person between wii u and ps4 you would see a difference

The game that I really don't get is Knack. It looks really dull and kind of empty in most screenshots. Maybe in motion it does something else?

Killzone is the best looking next gen game by far I would say. Ryse is probably the second but there is a step down to Ryse.

Honestly Knack reminds me of the Souls games and also stuff like Ghosts N Goblins. It's all about threat assessment, management of special abilities, and playing defensively. I'd hate to play the Souls games with a time constraint (i. e. a reviewer), and the same is true for Knack.

Also there's a part at the end of I believe chapter 5 where you're basically playing as Flamelurker. What.
