Guys... I really need something to convert MP3s to atracs... PLEASE!

Atrac is a Sony proprietary format. The only place you'll be able to get anything that'll convert to it is from Sony themselves, and if Sony's own SonicStage product doesn't work you're basically screwed. If you want your mp3s to take up less space you could try re-encoding them at a lower bitrate or using VBR instead of CBR.

Oh, by the way, you know you can't use SonicStage if you have a Memory Stick PRO Duo, right? You have to have a regular Memory Stick Duo for it to work.

From my minidisc days, I can tell you that cross-encoding an mp3 to atrac brings out the worst in both formats. They tend to sound terrible. Atrac itself sounds darned good (especially at low bit rates, it's excellent)-- but putting music through mp3 first and then atrac often results is terrible hiss and fuzziness. If you can, re-rip from the source. (I mean, you didn'tr pirate that music, did you? ;) )

Interesting. Does that work with the PSP? If so, does it support features like being able to add album art and create playlists/arrange music into folders? Does it require you to have a pre-existing copy of the old version on your computer to install it? Does it require your computer to be a Sony Vaio?
If someone hasn't tried this before i get home tonight, i'll give it a shot. It likely won't work though, because it'll search for the Viao Pocket or its files before installing/executing.
