Cool shareware puzzle game...

djtiesto

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
Was reading insertcredit's news the other day, and they posted a link to this shareware puzzle game you can give a try (for an hour), called GlowWorm... it's kind of hard to describe. You place "worms" on a board, and try to match up 4 in a row. Then when you do that, they turn into butterflies the same color as their spots. And you have to clear every white tile on the board (you clear a tile by eliminating a worm on it), before you run out of tiles you can place worms on. Not terribly complex but nevertheless pretty fun, if you're into point and click puzzle games like Zookeeper. Pretty nice production for an "indie" game. I'm gonna probably purchase it pretty soon when my trial runs out, since I like supporting these indie type games and it seems to have a bit more depth than some commercial releases lately =P

Yeah I got that email too.

Currently stuck on Level 32 in Gridlock... it is the longest stumping so far... I keep hitting reset and I cannot move one certain block... DAMN...

Level 40

End of 40 (105 moves may be more than necessary)

Gridlock Credits (Thanks for the fun times Corwin)

wow I just beat gridlock, some of the latter levels I had to walk away and come back :)

I might have to donate to that guy, that was a damn good puzzle game.

Thanks, but by the end of my work day I was up to Level 37...

I am actually pretty good at these type of "move pieces" games... it is like those little kid puzzles where you use your thumb to move the squares around the board by moving one at a time...

Yeah... sooo... Have anybody here tried that GlowWorm game I linked to?

I'll have to try Gridlock when I get home.

Congrats :)
GridLock is one of the best non-action oriented flash games out there. I'll try it again sometime in the future.

Oh, and it IS based on the kid's game Road Blocks - the one neptunes posted!

Just finished. Took me the much better part of one day at "work". Level 29 and 40 were bitches for me. 105 moves? I think I was at about 500 when I finally got 40. Need more of these games that my damn work proxy doesn't know about!

That Digisonline game looks impressive, considering it's all done by 1 person.

Has anyone tried out the game yet? Impressions of the game would be appreciated.

I played the game online for a while. Unbelieveably cool premise. The problem though, is that new unit drops are retardly rare, and people are allowed to spend money to get outright dominating units.

If you have a free account, and can get a game against a good player who also has a default free acount without first being pounced on by a person with 'gold' units, it can be an extremely intense and immensely fun game.

I stopped though, because such games happened like 1/week at most when I was playing like 5 games a day.

Yeah, I gave it a go. It's actually pretty solid. Nice graphics, music, and addictive. I might even go as far as registering it for $20. Not bad at all.

Thanks! A great game! I'm on level 29 now hopefully I'll finish it today or tomorrow.

Can everyone please try out this game? I can't get past the first level:

Yetisports 8: Jungle Swing

BTW does anyone remember a funny and addictive game where you kick a guy on a bicycle and the goal of the game is to keep him in the air as long as possible? :lol Please if anyone has a link to that game please post.
