that's pretty fucking pathetic by valve, 3 cheaters in one team, hooray

In Europe or NA? I haven't come across a cheater yet myself.
I've played CS since 1.4 on and off casually and CS:GO feels a bit weird to me since I just started playing it. Sometimes I stay still and shoot short accurate bursts and my bullets don't hit and I die. Meanwhile my opponent is strafing and spraying and headshotting me.
Welcome to CS:GO.
Game just feels as inconsistent as Source. Don't take it too seriously and P90 everyone for fun.
and that's on what, valve servers?
Yeah, it's really funky having someone in your cross-hairs, fire and totally miss (due to the "bloom?") only for them to headshot you in two seconds flat. So annoying.

Sold my skins for whatever I could get for them.
Anti-skin brigade - come join.
Eh. At some point most skins are worth absolutely nothing.
Soo I've been playing cs go a bit lately after owning it for a year and I'm loving it, guess nostalgia from 10 years ago is helping. Did 10 placement matches and I'm in gold nova I, guess I'm not as good as I thought >.>
How does skin drop system work in this game? I barely get anything, is it time based, x per week etc?

Either it was a typo that went uncorrected (seller meant to list for $25.00) or it's two people attempting to easily transfer between new account. With SteamGuard you can't trade with an account until after it's been active for 15 days, so if you list it on the market for cheap and have the other account quickly buy it you can 'bypass' the system.
If only I could get an AK-47 Fire Serpent so I wouldn't have to give up the wood parts of the gun to have an AK skin. But it is not meant to be. I think I'm getting better with it though.
Anyone around the DMG/Eagle rank down to play? I've been having a miserable time lately playing alone and I'm tired of it. Feel free to add me, Steam ID: heytred
@ Educator - to expand on Uriah's post: You are limited 'drops' weekly (they reset Wednesday 7 p.m. EST) and you generally get 2 skin drops and 2 case drops in that time frame. I've heard of people getting up to 7, but I don't know if there's any truth to that. You can open the cases, but they require a key - which costs $2.49. In my opinion it's a scam as you have a really low chance of landing anything of quality. You earn drops based off game time spent on Valve servers. These can be Deathmatch, Casual, Competitive, or Community Servers (for the most part). If you have any more questions, feel free.
Oh, ok. Not to keen on microtransactions. Would have been fun to just download some community skins without having to wait for drops and pay for keys.
Thanks!
Not sure if you can get banned/VAC'd for it, but you can definitely download custom skins and apply them. I think it's a tricky process and you need to do it everytime CSGO updates.
Also, some of these may end up in community skin updates (officially put into CSGO by Valve) later on if they're also submitted to the Workshop.
Shouldn't have to do that/risk a VAC ban for the sake of getting workshop items.
Really, that's their biggest fuckup. AFAIK TF2 allows you to use whatever from the Workshop as is. But I guess GO isn't selling enough crate keys or whatever (because people are smartly selling them?) to where they have to lock half the workshop off. :/

Yeah, but the question is: Why are they locking half the workshop off? TF2 doesn't do that as far as I know and it sells bucketloads of items.
I guess it's because they don't have the "hats" or whatever that TF2 does and since they don't want to turn it into a wacky game (thank god) they have to lock half the workshop.
But that's royally stupid. You can't let people do it through the workshop like this skinning method and only have the "official"/pay-for items show for everyone else?
