This is awful. I really really liked the man, his interviews with pop are legendary. RIP

2016 can go s*ck a d*ck for all eternity

No. Fuck no. FUUUUUCK

He's the voice of basketball for me, I knew this could happen but I really hoped he'd stick around for a while longer. 😭

This is painful as all hell. NBA playoffs will never feel the same.

Marv Albert with Craig Sager on the sidelines was my prime basketball duo. There will never be another like him. Glad I got to meet him a few times when I lived in Atlanta, and very classy move by ABC to let him be the sideline reporter for Game 6 last season. I hope Popovich will say something tonight as well. RIP to a legend. He no longer has to suffer through illness.

Oh no. :( I don't think there will ever be a guy like him. He fought so hard for so long too. Rest in peace. I'll never forget him (or his legendary suits).

RIP. A true icon. I went from saying who is this crazy guy wearing these wack suits as a kid to appreciating the awesome suits he had the courage to wear as I grew older.

RIP Mr. Sager. Cancer sucks.

Hopefully coach Popavich has a nice tribute for him in an upcoming half-time interview.

(and as a Houston Rockets fan I hope Calvin Murphy wears something in his honor as well... he's another known for wearing crazy outfits).

This celebrity death has caused me to be the most sad of all that have taken place this year. Craig Sager was a pure joy to watch, and from all accounts, he was a great man and father. He truly fought to the end. I feel lucky to have been alive during and a fan of the league that he covered. I have seen tweets from his son and daughter and it's apparent how important he was to them. He's an inspirational guy and as cliche as it may sound, someone that people can look up to.

FUCK THIS. FUCK THIS WHOLE YEAR.

Seriously, fuck this bullshit. Fuck Cancer.

God Damn it. I was hoping against all odds he could pull through. The NBA will never be the same.

Everything I've ever heard was that he was the nicest person in the sports reporting business.

Profoundly saddened by this.
