Glad I got to meet him a few times when I lived in Atlanta, and very classy move by ABC to let him be the sideline reporter for Game 6 last season. I hope Popovich will say something tonight as well. RIP to a legend. He no longer has to suffer through illness.

This celebrity death has caused me to be the most sad of all that have taken place this year. Craig Sager was a pure joy to watch, and from all accounts, he was a great man and father. He truly fought to the end. I feel lucky to have been alive during and a fan of the league that he covered. I have seen tweets from his son and daughter and it's apparent how important he was to them. He's an inspirational guy and as cliche as it may sound, someone that people can look up to.
