Dude, you're going to be massively disappointed. That's not what that means in any capacity.

Hoping CTR happens at some point. And don't mess with the gameplay/controls. Well, besides balancing boss characters and whatnot for multiplayer.

I don't think anyone knows what it really means except for Sony and Activision. MAYBE.

If it's a remake why not name a developer? Or just remake one at a time?

I'm guessing just new textures, lighting and better models on the same engine.

I definitely expected it to be a new Crash announcement plus a Skylanders tie-in. Did not expect Sony to settle for remasters though, thought they'd be able to make a new game by one of their own studios happen. :\

On the plus side, Crash in Skylanders looks great. Not so sure I want to jump in and buy another Skylanders game... but I'll probably buy his figure any way.

Like how much updated graphics? Cleaner looking but generally the same or ratchet ps4 level graphics?

we have literally no idea. Almost certainly NOT ratchet PS4 levels of fidelity. Especially if they want 60 fps (which seems very possible, but hasn't been confirmed. for clarity).

I don't care about Crash being in Skylanders, but the remasters are really the best case scenario for me. I can't see Activision making a Crash game these days that would be worthy. I'll take the nostalgia trip and be happy. Thanks, Sony.

This is probably the only way they think to gauge interest in a new Crash game. Which is weird, since all the Crash games always chart top spots on PS1 classic sales.

"From the ground up" sounds more like brand new graphics, engine, etc like Ratchet rather than a cleaner version of the PS1 games.

Good question.

I'm calling separate digital downloads with a single, physical package.

I mean, none of the games are particularly long enough to warrant separate releases (at least physically) but remasters could allow them to get away with it.

Hopefully they're packaged in the same disc.

I literally only wanted a collection of the original 3 on PS4, but remaking them is taking it to the next level. Bravo, Sony. The Bandicoot lives!

Crash in Skylanders looks really, really, REALLY accurate to his in-game portraits, if not the original character models. I'm happy with that.

Skylanders Crash looks good, actually. He got it way better than Spyro did. He's basically an HD version of the ND style. I hope that's what they stick with for the remasters.

A new game would have been nice, but since Crash had been dormant so long maybe this is a way of brining him back into the public eye before making a new one.
