Microsoft could go the "Steam" approach, and allow people to buy full games off of the internet, and burn them at home.
The software would likely download to a hard drive before being copied to the DVD. Why not just keep it on the drive in the first place? Piracy, oh, think of the piracy. Requiring an internet connection for people to get/play games? Not a wonderful idea either. What if you wanted to take it to a friend's place? Would they have to purchase it on their Xbox Live account to use the game? And that's just after a minute of thought.
